Former Texans GM Charley Casserly speaks on the NFL Network as to which team he thinks got the better end of the Cutler trade. Although we hauled in a “treasure trove of draft picks” to use Trent Dilfer’s term (Dilfer loves the move for the Broncos by the way) Casserly cetainly makes it sound like […]

The Denver Broncos have agreed to trade Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. In return, the Broncos acquired quarterback Kyle Orton, two first-round draft picks (18th overall in 2009 and their 2010 first round pick), and a third-round pick. The Broncos also included a fifth-round pick in the deal.

The Denver Broncos‘ 2009 preseason schedule has been announced, with a few familiar preseason faces and a few new ones, too. The team is set to travel to the San Francsico 49ers to start the 2009 expedition campaign, and will follow that up with a trip to face the Seattle Seahawks. They’ll have their home […]

I had a friend named Luke who I will probably never talk to again; we were watching a game and at 6:40 he said something pretty prolific, “A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher.” Hmm. That’s been going through my head more […]

Fox Sports Jay Glazer just reported moments ago that the Denver Broncos would be interviewing Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for their head coaching position. I can’t believe no one has noticed this yet. This YouTube footage is a little grainy, but you can clearly see three Broncos players heading straight for Devin Hester in the middle of the field. Before they reach Hester, the Bronco on the left cuts inside to the middle. A moment later, just as Hester […]

Devin Hester had two big returns for touchdowns in a game the Broncos should have won. Photo Courtesy (AP/Nam Y. Huh) The Broncos offense was spectacular. Through three and a half quarters, the defense was dominant, not allowing a Chicago drive of 50 yards, and allowing no touchdowns. Yet all that matters is the final […]

With just over 5 minutes left in the game, the score should be reading 34-6. Instead, two huge returns by Devin Hester and a blocked punt that resulted in Chicago’s only offensive touchdown has put the Bears in a situation to steal a win. 21 points from special teams, and the score reads 34-27 Denver.
