With just over 5 minutes left in the game, the score should be reading 34-6. Instead, two huge returns by Devin Hester and a blocked punt that resulted in Chicago’s only offensive touchdown has put the Bears in a situation to steal a win. 21 points from special teams, and the score reads 34-27 Denver.

I just don’t even know what to say…. My first thought is that someone on the special teams coaching staff needs fired after that performance. WHY would you kick it to Devin Hester RIGHT AFTER HE BURNT YOUR SORRY BUM FOR A TD!?!?!

That’s not Todd fault, that’s the Special Teams coaches that let that play happen (twice)… Someone has to answer for that — I want blood.

The special teams coach, O’Brien, should lose his job over the pitiful calls he made throughout the game. Pull your head out and quit helping to lose games for the Broncos.

While I’m not a big fan of losing your job over one game, this was so, so, so bad that I tend to agree.

In the end he won’t lose his job. I don’t want the O’Brien family paying for one game. But this better get f’ing fixed, and he better be eating some humble pie after “not worrying” about Hester. Idiot.

i liked the bravado before the game. No one should be in fear of another player.
    respect? Sure.
    Game plan? Of course.
    But no fear.

That said, i think every man and his dog knew we were vulnerable on special teams. If you break the film down, the kick return was a good play with missed assignments, the punt return looked like a mis-kick. It was supposed to go left and went straight. The punt block was only because of a stupid formation penalty. What’s more annoying is that there was some really good special teams play. A couple of good tackles – mike bell and dom foxworth – and a fumble recovery. But three plays cost us the game.

It’s criminal that we threw this game away. But the performance of the team for the majority of the game was amazing. To put up 34 points without converting many third downs shouldn’t be forgotten.

We should’ve won this by a mile and it hurts that we didn’t.

The video claiming the evil refs missed a brutal block in the back has a Raider ring to it. Tuck rule and all…. BOo Hoo Hoo. Come on, we Donk fans don’t talk like that…..

Wow, are you guys kidding me? If you hear me bitch and moan about this four years from now you can compare me to a whiny Raider fan. It was two days later and it deserved pointing out, bottom line.
