Denver Broncos blog, news and rumors

Quick, name the Denver Broncos current slot receiver? Yeah, I hope Brandon Stokley comes back too and I need not point out the obvious, but he will turn 37 years old in June. One thing that I want to plant into your head right now is that this season is Eric Decker’s last season on […]

The discussion on defensive linemen couldn’t be more timely given the recent rumors of the Denver Broncos working with Elvis Dumervil to renegotiate his contract. Though whether this is legitimate or not has not been confirmed, from what I have gathered the Broncos would carry nearly $4-million in dead money on Dumervil for 2013 if […]

It is still too early for fans to hear the mention of the Denver Broncos and their secondary without receiving a seething response. A simple mention of Denver’s cornerbacks or safeties opens up a AFC Division Playoff loss wound that has just started healing. Enter: Darrelle Revis and those rumors, a lot of readers may […]

Broncos 17, Chiefs 9 — you know what a victory means, fellas. Give out your BT Game Balls! RB Knowshon Moreno. I will be the first one to say (and most obvious), this guy hasn’t had a play of significance since he fumbled back in Week Two. He hasn’t had a decent game since Week Thirteen of […]

Broncos 37, Raiders 6 — you know what a victory means, fellas. Give out your BT Game Balls! Eric Decker: I have been hard on Eric Decker basically since he has been a rookie. Whether it was that he was a better punt/kick returner than receiver or that he was only good to catch every third pass […]

On Sunday, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning—barring an unforeseen breakdown—will throw his 400th career touchdown pass in his 209th game.  Today, BroncoTalk published our 5,000th post during our sixth year of existence. BT has come a long way since Kyle “Monty” Montgomery started the blog back in 2006.  At the time, Jake Plummer was Denver’s […]

On Monday, Denver Broncos V.P. of Football Operations John Elway addressed the media to discuss the team’s draft plans.  In the press conference, Elway noted that the team does not view defensive tackle as a dire position of need. “We don’t feel as bad about our tackles as everybody else does,” said Elway. “I think that we […]

Amidst reports that Peyton Manning will choose his team by either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, KCNC’s Vic Lombardi just tweeted that Manning is 95% likely to sign with the Denver Broncos and that Manning in fact has, ‘Just contacted the Broncos‘. Meaning, after spending six plus hours with the Arizona Cardinals, Manning contacted […]

From a pure money ball stand point take a look at what Wallace doesn’t due– fumble. He has only fumbled three times in three years, you pair him up with the other two receivers in Denver and you’ve got one heck of a problem. Who do you double on a team that has Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Wallace? It’s miss-match heaven and we’re all invited to watch the show.

This season has already seen Tom Brady’s private quarterback coach Tom Martinez proclaim that he could fix Tim Tebow’s throwing mechanics in two weeks. Tebow was pressed specifically about this offer by none other than Skip Bayless and after typical Tebow polite deflection when being offered an all inclusive free trip by Bayless Tebow has instead reacted two weeks later by meeting with not Brady’s coach Martinez, but Philip Rivers’ former offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone.
