On Sunday, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning—barring an unforeseen breakdown—will throw his 400th career touchdown pass in his 209th game.  Today, BroncoTalk published our 5,000th post during our sixth year of existence.

BT has come a long way since Kyle “Monty” Montgomery started the blog back in 2006.  At the time, Jake Plummer was Denver’s starting quarterback.

Since then, we’ve gone through Jay Cutler, Kyle Orton and Tim Tebow while hosting nearly seven million new and returning readers.  Tebow’s arrival on Draft Day 2010 broke our record for most hits in a single day.  Two years later, Manning’s Free Agency Tour doubled that record.

The site has rapidly grown over the years, due in part to our evolving comment system and the site becoming mobile-friendly.  We do our best to always keep improving the site and a redesign is actually under construction!

We joined the social movement several years ago but our social networking presence has strengthened considerably in recent months.  You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

This is post No. 5,004;  Tim Lynch‘s defensive end preview was the big No. 5,000.  Congrats, Tim, here’s betting you didn’t even realize you posted No. 5K.

We want to thank YOU, our readers for helping us get here!  If not for you, we wouldn’t be here.  Thanks for coming along for the ride.  Here’s to 5,000 more posts and beyond—Go Broncos!

You are correct sir. I scheduled that bad boy yesterday, before a slew of new posts went out. ;) BT rocks!

Congratulations and keep with the awesome job!

A big grats to you all. And a special thank you to Kyle for starting this blog. You’ve created a great environment to cheer, console and vent all at the same time. I would not enjoy 2012 quite as much without BroncoTalk.net

Thanks everybody. Just to clarify, we’ll be turning six years old in November! I think 5,280 posts will also be a nice milestone, maybe we’ll have a giveaway then.

Thank you, everyone, for reading and commenting! BT is nothing without you.

    Oh my bad!

I believe I started reading and posting on BT right around the time Shanny was let go. Have visited several other sites, but always come back to BT as being the best and most readable. Nice job to ‘Monty’ and all those that help produce the site as well as all the bloggers. Great place see a wide range of opinions and thinking.

Shoot, this is my home away from home. It’s like like kicking back at a BBQ and talking football with the fellas, Bronco’s football, I love this place!

I want to thank everyone at BT for all the hard work you guys put into this thing. You have truly built something to be proud of.

I love these digs as well. Thanks guys for Always keeping it going. I’ve had a great deal of enjoyment here, even when I have not agreed with all and them not with me. Along with the writers I have for a long time enjoyed Trogs, Anthony’s and a few others posts, and for sure Big Pete’s. Whether I always agree with them or not I always feel they give sound and educated replies to just about everything rather than simply emotional responses. Of course the exception is Trogs take on Knowshow…lmao.

Just today I invited an old friend that lives in Yuma to join us over here. When he was in the Navy in SD I flew out for a game and stayed at his place, I hope he shows up over here, if he does I’ll introduce him to you all.
