With the 2012 NFL Draft a few weeks away we feel that it is just as important to look at what has been done to know what needs to be done. We will start at 2007 and move forward throughout the week. So, without further adieu here is the Oakland Raiders 2007 draft class: Round [...]

2011 saw the Oakland Raiders come within inches of their 13th AFC West crown needing literally just one win in Week 17. The Denver Broncos squeaked away with the title and famously back-peddled into the playoffs only to use up all of their Jesus juice while beating the Pittsburgh Steelers with one of the most [...]

Amidst reports that Peyton Manning will choose his team by either Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, KCNC’s Vic Lombardi just tweeted that Manning is 95% likely to sign with the Denver Broncos and that Manning in fact has, ‘Just contacted the Broncos‘. Meaning, after spending six plus hours with the Arizona Cardinals, Manning contacted [...]

From a pure money ball stand point take a look at what Wallace doesn’t due– fumble. He has only fumbled three times in three years, you pair him up with the other two receivers in Denver and you’ve got one heck of a problem. Who do you double on a team that has Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Wallace? It’s miss-match heaven and we’re all invited to watch the show.

Yesterday Fox Sport’s Adam Shein had an interesting quote that gained little ground around Denver, but sure rang loudly around these parts, One team Lloyd rules out via free agency is a return to Denver, citing “style of offense”. This season has already seen Tom Brady’s private quarterback coach Tom Martinez proclaim that he could fix Tim Tebow’s throwing mechanics in two weeks. Much was made about Tebow’s ability to complete passes in 2011, not much was made about the Broncos receivers’ ability to catch them.
Overheard once in a Denver press box in regards to Tebow’s unique throwing style and the ability to hang on to said ball, “Have you ever caught a knuckleball?” Touché anonymous man, touché.
Given that Thomas and Decker have both spent two seasons more or less catching Tebow’s passes–unique or not– they should have the apparent uncanny ability to do so. It did look as though Brandon Marshall had returned to the lineup at several points in the season during last minute Tebow drives however.

The Denver Broncos picked two tight ends in this years draft, Virgil Green happened to be the first to conduct an interview with the Denver media. Here’s what we came away with: On transitioning from wide receiver to tight end “Initially it was a tough transition. I went from being a high school receiver who [...]

The Denver Broncos started off the seventh round with the 204th overall pick and had their second of two seventh round picks way down the line at 247, the Broncos rewarded those die hard fans who stuck around by drafting their first defensive lineman of the draft– defensive end Jeremy Beal of Oklahoma. Beal (6’2″, [...]
