Carter was arrested on Saturday in Las Vegas.

On the eve of the NFL’s Free Agency Denver Broncos safety Quinton Carter was arrested and charged on felony charges of cheating at a Las Vegas casino craps game.

The young safety is being charged on three counts (each carrying a maximum of six years) police are alleging that he was adding money to his bets after the dice had been cast.

Carter was arrested Saturday night at Palace Station, he is also dealing with a charge for failure to complete counseling on a 2011 marijuana charge.

Earlier in March John Elway justified a lack of interest in free agent safeties by stating that Carter would be back in the rotation and that he had faith at him returning full strength. Carter was on injured reserve for all but three games in the 2012 season.

I fail to see your logic here, DJ and Carter don’t effect each other as they don’t play the same position….

Get rid of trouble only to gain trouble. Not talking actual starting position.

Why the hell would you cheat at craps?

  • anthony33

Cut him. How stupid can you get. How sad to squander away a bright career over what… 25 bucks maybe.

And he’s FROM Las Vegas!!! If anyone should know that Big Brother is watching you at all times, it’s people from Vegas…. and London. haha

For real, how dumb do you have to be? I wouldn’t cut him (yet), but he very well might have completely blown his chance at competing for the starting gig… hell, he might be in the pokey during football season.

He thinks he’ll be found innocent. How dumb is that? Vegas casinos doesn’t go around arresting you unless they’ve been watching you on many of their thousands of cameras for a while.

Yeah those guys don’t play… You can’t act like this when you at best almost a bubble guy… I’m just shaking my head in disbelieve…

    Ah, gotcha

He was arrested and released, he will get a slap on the wrist and have to pay a fine and finish his counseling class, he will have a trespass on him and will be banned from Station Casinos. He went to college here and was doing what his college buddies try to get away with.

He did all of that to gain a measly $10.00. We should give him a Twenty and tell him to hit the road. We don’t need any classless noobs like this in Bronco Nation….

I think it depends on how much money he was doing this with. If there’s 1 industry in America that is loved more than the NFL and makes more money than the NFL, it’s Las Freaking Vegas! The casinos won’t care who it is. Cheating is cheating, and they’ll cut your fucking throat out and bury you in the desert if they deem it necessary. lol. If it was only a few times and not a whole lot of money, he’ll get off. If we’re talking about multiple thousands of dollars for an extended period of time, the Casinos will have his ass in the pokey (jail) for a few years.
