Entering the 2012 off-season, the Denver Broncos will have a lot of decisions to make.  Among those decisions will be which unrestricted free agents (UFA’s) to re-sign with new contracts. A UFA is a player whose current contract has expired, freeing up that player to sign with any team he chooses.  The Broncos have nineteen […]

UPDATE — Harris will visit with the Broncos Tuesday August 2nd and is expected to re-sign with the team. In 2010, the Denver Broncos had the 26th worst rushing attack in the NFL and much of the blame was placed upon the offensive linemen, somewhat fairly so.  The offensive line also allowed 40 sacks (a gruesome number when you consider the team’s 2008 squad allowed only 12 sacks). In their defense, throughout much of […]

Some happily stupefied fans likely queried as they watched the Denver Broncos take a 21-0 first quarter lead against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday: “Who are these Broncos, and where have they been all season?” A partial answer: It took the Broncos ten weeks to get back to the starting offensive line formation in which […]

My countryman, my readers, my friends… I owe you an apology. Gone is the ‘Predicting the Future’ column, because it got so dark… I couldn’t possibly spring anyone on what I’d predicted on the future for the Broncos over the past three weeks. I should have prepared you and I am sorry, but it was […]

I can’t apologize for last week, I was within three points of my predictions (I just attributed the points to the wrong teams, that’s all– a simple typo (similar to the one that brought Wall Street to its knees a few months back)). The entire game I couldn’t stand the fact that we were running […]

Denver Broncos right tackle Ryan Harris returned to the starting lineup for the first time since injuring his ankle in the preseason last Sunday. His return might be short-lived. The Broncos experimented with their offensive line formations at practice Thursday, with a healthy Harris splitting starting reps with Zane Beadles at right tackle while Russ […]

Having drawn two of its starters from the 2010 draft, the Denver Broncos‘ offensive line was expected to be in a state flux in 2010.  Repeated injuries are only expounding this effect. Until this week, only right guard Chris Kuper had been the healthy exception to this rule, but now even his status is in […]
