UPDATED 3/16/11 @ 12:45 EST Well, The Denver Post did not update today, so fans of the Denver Broncos have had limited sources for information and entertainment. Have no fear, the one sliver of news that has slipped to our thirsty lips is that Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Locker will have a private workout of […]

Late last week news hit the Minnesota Vikings were interested in acquiring Kyle Orton. Â This news marks the first time anyone has publicly heard that another team was considering trading for Orton. If you look at Orton’s solely stats over the past two years then it is no surprise other teams consider him an instant […]

In what appeared to be a minor blurb via TwinCities.com Charley Walters reported yesterday that the Minnesota Vikings were interested in trading for Kyle Orton. He goes on to report that the Vikings have since backed off. I had also heard that Orton had been talking about playing for the Vikings next season, but I […]

If anyone read my introductory article, you will notice that I disclosed the fact that I have dual loyalties when it comes to NFL fandom: the Denver Broncos as well as the Green Bay Packers.
As you likely know (and if you don’t, you live under a rock), the Green Bay Packers recently won Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, finished 4-12 and hold the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft this coming April.

Not too long ago John Fox said that there was no clear starter yet, clearly that has changed. According the Denver Post, John Fox stated: “It’s a group of three that are very capable. Right now Kyle Orton is our starter. We have a young guy, high draft pick, in Tim Tebow who got his feet […]

So Tim Tebow isn’t going to be handed the Denver Broncos quarterback starting job. That’s fine. Tim Tebow is all about earning the starting job. In a wide-ranging interview with The Florida Times-Union, Tebow discusses the NFL learning curve and his working relationship with Kyle Orton (“I always hope he does his best because that’ll […]

An in-depth Denver Broncos mock draft. [Predominantly Orange] The moment Kyle Orton, the Broncos‘ union player rep, gets an answer regarding the CBA negotiations may be the same moment his future in Denver becomes more clear. [Denver Post] Orton says he’s only had one meeting, and that one very brief, with head coach John Fox. […]

As the offseason has gone on, it’s become more and more assumed by fans and the media that Tim Tebow would be taking the reigns as Denver Broncos starting QB in 2011. Even Pro Bowler Brandon Lloyd seemingly bought into that theory. Hold your horses (ahem), says V.P. John Elway: “If we had to play […]
