On Wednesday, Denver Broncos Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and team General Manager Brian Xanders held a pre-draft press conference with the media. During the conference, Elway noted that the team has had “no contact” with other teams concerning trading down in the upcoming NFL Draft. Xanders noted that those calls will start […]

John Elway gave an interview yesterday to Denver’s 104.3 The Fan and in it had more than a few gems. Elway talked everything from team needs to the draft to why the Denver Broncos may actually take a quarterback in the draft. Elway began by praising the new head coach of the Denver Broncos John […]

The Denver Broncos are not interested in Tiki Barber, the former New York Giants star who is attempting a comeback even though he hasn’t played in four years and will be turning 36 in two weeks. [Denver Post] On Tuesday at the owners meetings in New Orleans, the NFL adopted several new rule changes in […]

I debated titling this post A Few Seconds of Panic, but the name was already taken. Tonight Louisiana State University’s phenomenal cornerback/punt returner Patrick Peterson will be dining with the Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera. As a matter of fact John Elway, Brian Xanders and John Fox were not even in attendance at LSU’s […]

In a quest to see who will be the number two pick (and possibly number 36, 46 and so on…) the Denver Broncos‘ three headed lion bronco consisting of general manager Brian Xanders, head coach John Fox and Vice President of football operations John Elway headed to Auburn, Alabama to see quarterback Cam Newton defensive […]

If anyone read my introductory article, you will notice that I disclosed the fact that I have dual loyalties when it comes to NFL fandom: the Denver Broncos as well as the Green Bay Packers.
As you likely know (and if you don’t, you live under a rock), the Green Bay Packers recently won Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, finished 4-12 and hold the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft this coming April.
Since one of my teams is currently at the top of the NFL and the other is dangerously close to the cellar, I figured that now would be a good time to ask:
What can the Denver Broncos learn from the Green Bay Packers?

Who said the offseason has to be boring? Well, if you’ve got an hour this weekend you can enjoy the entirety of the press conference that Denver Broncos Vice President of Football Operations John Elway and General Manager Brian Xanders just had. They cover about everything fans would want to hear from them; from the […]

The Denver Broncos announced Monday that the club’s Southwest area college football scout, Cornell Green, has been named the AFC Scout Of The Year by the Fritz Pollard Alliance (FPA). Green was a defensive back with the Dallas Cowboys for several years before becoming a scout for the NFL. For the past 32 years (25 of […]

The “Daily” in the title is a running joke at this point. Enjoy ’em anyway. A fascinating piece about a former Denver Broncos employee who boasts more Super Bowl rings than any other person alive. [Pro Football Weekly] GM Brian Xanders returns from Senior Bowl practices to discuss all things Broncos. [DenverBroncos.com] Even Executive V.P. […]

Former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels came to Denver from New England and tried to convert the Broncos into doing things the “Patriot Way,†the way that led the Pats to three Super Bowl titles in four years. If “Patriot Way†was in a dictionary, here is what you would likely find for its definition: […]
