So the front page of NFL.com last night pretty much sucked. [NFL.com] Things may be bad, but let’s not forget that the Lions beat the Chiefs 48-3 earlier this season. [NFL.com] The Chiefs beat the Chargers in overtime last night. Three teams in the AFC West sit at 4-3 after the Chiefs’ overtime victory last […]

Monumental blow to the Chiefs. Eric Berry was a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie and played in every single defensive snap for KC last year. He’ll miss the rest of 2011 with an ACL injury. Kinda like the blow Broncos fans felt when they lost Elvis Dumervil last year, huh? Enjoy 4-12 KC.

Since the Broncos play tomorrow, and we love the NFL, we’re keeping tabs on how the other teams in the AFC West fared today. (Kansas City recap). For a minute, it looked like more of the same from the San Diego Chargers. Down 7-0 following Percy Harvin‘s 103-yard opening kickoff return for a touchdown, the […]

Since the Broncos play tomorrow, and we love the NFL, we’re keeping tabs on how the other teams in the AFC West fared today. (San Diego recap). The 2010 AFC West champions didn’t start the defense of their division title with any sort of gusto. Or toughness. Or anything really resembling football efficiency. Watch game […]

The Denver Broncos are no strangers to regime changes. Owner Pat Bowlen fired “Coach for Life” Mike Shanahan following the 2008 season, opening the door for Josh McDaniels to take over. The plan was for the young McDaniels to inherit Shanahan’s throne. McDaniels, given total control as both personnel manager and coach, would install the […]

Some people are getting really excited about the 2011 Denver Broncos. Really excited. OK, I am too. The first team offense and defense looked dominant against both opponents so far, and the players seem to be uniting behind John Fox and Kyle Orton. So I decided that maybe I could take a figurative cold shower […]

On Sunday, the NFL’s Pro Bowl game was played (as if anyone cares). In the game — which could easily be mistaken for a touch-football game to first time viewers — the Denver Broncos were represented by wide receiver Brandon Lloyd and cornerback Champ Bailey. Neither Bronco fared too well, as Bailey seemingly let NFC […]

A week after being released by the Denver Broncos and clearing waivers, Outside Linebacker Jarvis Moss has found a new home — in Oakland, California. Moss broke the news himself, via twitter: @JmossVsJarvis: So it’s official! I’m an Oakland Raider! God is good thank him! Typical of the Raiders to pick up cast-offs from division […]

A 35-14 loss to San Diego puts the Broncos at 3-7, making them pretty much out of the playoff picture. [BT, DP] The Chargers’ special teams was horrendous all season long, that wasn’t the case last night. [NCT] Sadly, Brian Dawkins is playing like the 37-year old player he is, and his time in Denver […]

Brandon Lloyd appears set to smash the NFL receiving record for improvement from one season to the next. Another comeback story can be found in Mario Haggan, whose seventh season already made NFL history. The Broncos scripted the first 18 plays of Sunday’s win, a change for Josh McDaniels. Air masters Philip Rivers and Kyle […]
