Sometimes a brutal loss leaves you in disgust of your team (see Oakland Raiders, 2010). Sometimes a brutal loss leaves you in awe of your opponent. This one was a bit more of the latter. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers put a number on the Denver Broncos Sunday. An early 3-0 lead by […]

Two words can be used to describe Denver Broncos defensive end Jason Hunter: play maker. During his four-year collegiate career at Appalachian State, Hunter recorded 186 tackles (110 solo), 38.5 tackles for loss, 24 sacks, nine passes defened, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and one interception, scoring three times. After running a relatively slow […]

Could NFL teams — the Denver Broncos even? –Â really tank the season for Andrew Luck? [ESPN] If you haven’t heard, Aaron Rodgers is pretty good. [Denver Post] Former teammate Jason Hunter can certainly attest to that. [Max Denver] The Broncos plan to mix up their defensive looks to try and slow down Rodgers’ air […]

It’s the first return to practice in weeks for cornerback Champ Bailey and defensive tackle Marcus Thomas. Another big-named Bronco who missed game action Sunday also returned to practice: defensive end Elvis Dumervil. All three attended the portion of practice open to the media Wednesday, the Denver Post reports. Missing practice were Eddie Royal, Julius […]
After perusing the Denver Post blog and noticing Lindsay Jones’ latest questioning of wide receiver Matt Willis and his ninja training regimen, IÂ noticing a few oddly similar instances popping up. Â I think we have a full blown conspiracy theory on our hands. Â Dove Valley may look like your average training camp by day, but come […]

If anyone read my introductory article, you will notice that I disclosed the fact that I have dual loyalties when it comes to NFL fandom: the Denver Broncos as well as the Green Bay Packers.
As you likely know (and if you don’t, you live under a rock), the Green Bay Packers recently won Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, finished 4-12 and hold the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft this coming April.
Since one of my teams is currently at the top of the NFL and the other is dangerously close to the cellar, I figured that now would be a good time to ask:
What can the Denver Broncos learn from the Green Bay Packers?

Just exactly how many sacks will Sam Bradford endure this Sunday? The rookie has looked like the real deal, but will it transition to the regular season? Darnell Dockett would sure like to welcome him to the NFL. Mike Singletary has quietly been putting together one of the toughest and meanest defenses in the NFL, […]
