UPDATED 3/16/11 @ 12:45 EST Well, The Denver Post did not update today, so fans of the Denver Broncos have had limited sources for information and entertainment. Have no fear, the one sliver of news that has slipped to our thirsty lips is that Washington Huskies quarterback Jake Locker will have a private workout of […]

Former Tarheel track star, current Inside the NFL, Fox-31 KDVR‘s (and friend of the site) Josina Anderson tweeted late Monday night that she had spoken to Harvey Steinberg, Travis Henry Brandon Marshall Perrish Cox‘s attorney. Steinberg stated that rumors of Cox’s trial being set for Wednesday were, “Completely false,” and that “[The case is] not […]

I debated titling this post A Few Seconds of Panic, but the name was already taken. Tonight Louisiana State University’s phenomenal cornerback/punt returner Patrick Peterson will be dining with the Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera. As a matter of fact John Elway, Brian Xanders and John Fox were not even in attendance at LSU’s […]

On Tuesday, LSU cornerback and 2011 NFL Draft prospect Patrick Peterson said he would love to play alongside fellow cornerback Champ Bailey in Denver. The quote came on the same day Broncos Head Coach John Fox essentially guaranteed that the team would be playing in a championship very soon and ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter […]

In a quest to see who will be the number two pick (and possibly number 36, 46 and so on…) the Denver Broncos‘ three headed lion bronco consisting of general manager Brian Xanders, head coach John Fox and Vice President of football operations John Elway headed to Auburn, Alabama to see quarterback Cam Newton defensive […]

If anyone read my introductory article, you will notice that I disclosed the fact that I have dual loyalties when it comes to NFL fandom: the Denver Broncos as well as the Green Bay Packers.
As you likely know (and if you don’t, you live under a rock), the Green Bay Packers recently won Super Bowl XLV over the Pittsburgh Steelers by a score of 31-25. The Denver Broncos, meanwhile, finished 4-12 and hold the number two overall pick in the NFL Draft this coming April.
Since one of my teams is currently at the top of the NFL and the other is dangerously close to the cellar, I figured that now would be a good time to ask:
What can the Denver Broncos learn from the Green Bay Packers?

News broke not too long after Kyle released his dissertation on the Denver Broncos free agents heading into the 2011 season that Denver is in fact targeting free agent O.J. Atogwe. At only 29-years old Atogwe is a player who was franchised by his former team (the St. Louis Rams) in 2009, but spent much […]

Now that Champ Bailey is under the fold for another four years, the Broncos can begin looking at their other players set to hit the free agent market. The remaining crop of would-be market-hitters are only a handful deep, and none are of the “can’t live without them” variety, but it’s still worth examining each […]

Many of the Denver Broncos coaching staff and scouts are in Indianapolis this week for the NFL’s annual Scouting Combine, and head coach John Fox has been in high demand among the press. Below are some notes of what he’s had to say: Fox’s first topic was the upcoming NFL Draft, “You’re obviously gonna get a heck […]

So Tim Tebow isn’t going to be handed the Denver Broncos quarterback starting job. That’s fine. Tim Tebow is all about earning the starting job. In a wide-ranging interview with The Florida Times-Union, Tebow discusses the NFL learning curve and his working relationship with Kyle Orton (“I always hope he does his best because that’ll […]
