Referees, NFL agreement imminent

Our long national nightmare is almost over…

The replacement refs could be gone as the official officials could reach an agreement with the NFL today, according to ESPN. Let’s just hope Mortensen is right for once…

    If the regular refs do come back… what the hell will the game announcers and reporters have to talk or write about? On no… they may actually have to come up with game related stuff!!!

    I just looked into the Mortictionary and the word “imminent” is specifically defined as “any time when it an event may occur”. Synonyms include words like: eventually, someday, maybe, idontknow.

    This felt like pertinent information for those fans out there hopeful that real football may return within Webster’s definition of “imminent”.

    Thank God! I was upset on behalf of Packers fan’s Monday. I would have lost my mind if the Broncos lost to the Raiders based on a bad call from a Jr. College ref! Let’s hope the real refs can get up to speed quickly.

    Other than coaches and players being utterly obnoxious to the replacement officials, I personally didn’t see that much of a difference to the regular refs. Mistakes are part of game.

    Glad it’s over so we can quit talking about it.
