FRIDAY
The biggest concern involved Stokley and Moreno, who missed Friday’s practice and are both listed as questionable. Richard Seymour is a late addition to the Raiders’ report after not participating Friday, but is listed as Probable. Good to have Ben Hamilton back.

THURSDAY
With Ben Hamilton missing practice, Russ Hochstein reportedly filled in at LG. Yes, I am worried… Stokley says he should be ready for Sunday, and is just taking it slow.

Again, the most important continuing development regarding the Raiders is the health of JaMarcus Russell.  He is still healthy.  Celebrate; this bodes well for us.

WEDNESDAY
Champ Bailey found himself on this list last week, while Brian Dawkins has been listed each week as he recovers from the broken hand he suffered in training camp. Neither player are listed this week, which is good news. Le Kevin Smith is making his way back from injury, practicing finally. I wouldn’t worry about Stokley – I’m pretty sure I know the hit that caused him to sit out today’s practice with a thigh injury. It looked nasty, but Stokley jumped right up afterward. I’m guessing he got the day off due to the pain.

The Raiders have already listed two players as Out. Their #2 WR Chaz Schillens was possibly going to try to play Week 3; no luck yet. Nnamdi Asomugha, their best player, went through a full workout, so the Broncos can expect to face one of the best CBs in the NFL this Sunday.

No, he played last week. Ex-Bronco Erik Pears (former RT) expected to play at LG in his spot.

    Fully updated through Friday.

(Rather than posting three separate articles W, Th, F, I'm giving this a try instead — updating and bumping the same post throughout the week. Let me know if anyone prefers the other method. For instance, this way doesn't ever hit anyone's RSS feeds on Th/F, which can be a bummer I suppose.)

    Whats the deal with KNOWSHON!!!!?

  • NMBronc

    Agreed, What's up with KM?

And while I am here….I have waited all offseason +6 games to watch Dawkins bleed a few Raiders. Can't f'n wait.

    Off topic post:

I was listening to Scott and Al on the Fan this afternoon and they were talking like they just got fired. Did I hear right? I thought Alfred Williams especially gave good insight on the Broncos, the league, and defending players in contract and labor disputes. I'd hate for his perspective to disappear.

Heard that Le Kevin Smith is TFTP… (come on, someone has to remember).
