  • I understand the rule, but I still question if that was the right call at the end of the first half.  It sure looked like Louis Murphy had possession all the way to the ground.  [FanHouse]

  • Patriots upend Bills in another Buffalo heartbreak.  The Pats also looked beatable.  We play them Week 5.  [DPO]

i saw Richard Seymour DOMINATE last night against a 3 time Pro Bowler in Marcus McNeill. even when Deilman, (another Pro Bowler) came over to help he went through him too. now my point is, WHY THE HELL DIDNT WE GO AFETR SEYMOUR?!?!?! if the Raiders got him for a first rounder 2 years from now, im sure we could have also. now our defense played very well, but with Seymour in there we could be even better.

  • http://broncotalk.net Kyle

The Chargers’ OL was disgustingly bad kerry. The Raiders DL dominated all around, not just with Seymour. Cause for concern after the shoddy performance our OL put on two days ago.

As for going after Seymour – wait to see if they can even re-sign the guy before crowning it a great move. Right now they’re renting him for a season.

  • kerry

    Kyle:

its got nothing to do with them “Renting him for a season” the guy;s very presence draws a double team and he demands constant attention. not one guy on our D-line demands that kind of attention. Seymour contantly took on two Pro Bowlers in Deilman and McNeill and won. that would have been worth a first rounder two years from now.

and seriously what does their ability to re-sign him have to do with anything?? even if he doesnt re-sign all they have to do is slap the franchise tag on him. so he will be there this year and the next which furthers my argument as to why we would have gotten him, i sure as hell would ratehr have him here for a first rounder 2 yaers from now instead of in Oakland terrorizing us.

Really wish the Raiders could have pulled that out. Chuggers are a scary second half team. If the Broncos can put a good game plan together, we have a chance

    Kerry,

You sure love d-linemen. Since you love them so much you should realize that he’ll be past his prime. I’d rather have our first round pick. The Charger’s oline was terrible last night as a unit too. Let’s see what he does against Clady as Joe Thomas. Joe Thomas shut down Jared Allen with ease.

Also, no one knew that Bellichek was stupid enough to give up Seymour. I can’t believe the Raiders even tried. I can’t believe BB even agreed. I think it’s due to the fact that there’s a high chance that pick will be a top 5 one. So I think the trade was conditional that it was the Raiders / historically sucky team.

  • Gary in SD

Pissed that the raiders blew that one, but did enjoy seeing the statics show their asses on that 4th and 15 TD play. They’re both very beatable teams this season.

  • robtink242

Question 4th and 15, can denver dream about going for it. NO cause our QB sux. Don’t get me wrong JaMarcus sux as well, but his ability to make all the throws on the feild seperates him from our BS QB.

  • dr.gonzo

    Kerry,
Had we traded for Seymour, I’m sure you would have found some kind of way to bash it.

  • CB123

Lol, more than likely dr.gonzo. Must suck to be pissed off all the time, heh.

  • RaiderJ

Sounds like a bunch of scared bronc fans to me. raiders again gettin robbed, but that aside the raiders dont look like anything of the last 6yrs. You boys escaped a close one. you can thank your maker for the help at the end. raiders may not win a ton of games this year (i.e. Schedule) but they will be a dominate force within the division with u and KC fighting for third. They are not the raiders of old gentelmen. There is cause for c0ncern when you line up against the silver and black in week three….

  • Nisse

lol, a raider in the comment section, its been a while!
    let the trash talk begin!

  • Darth Raider

I love the Silver and Black but like usual they find a way to lose. But what do you expect from a team who is dumb enough to hire a coach who punches his assistants in the face. Oh well.

  • Darth Raider

My Raiders are a joke. I only save and watch the 3 or 4 games that they win. But p@rno never fails to bring a smile to my face. :)
