May 1st, 1999, four screenwriters were credited with a screenplay which would be the final draft turned in prior to the shooting script. The four men were: Jamie Williams, Richard Weiner, John Logan and Alexander Payne. Logan went on to write such films as the The Last Samurai, The Aviator, Sweeny Todd, and the still [...]

BroncoTalk’s week-long Denver Broncos 2008 Season Preview kicks off today. We’ll bring you daily articles to get you ready for the 2008 season. Enjoy.
Head Coach Mike Shanahan closed the 2007 Denver Broncos 7-9 season by publicly pinning the blame on himself. Saying the team had the talent to win 10 games, Shanahan [...]
This is the first in an irregular series I plan for the off-season. I want to take this space to analyze what we know now about the current team, and figure out where the real question marks are. There’s a lot of them, and these are the areas we need to watch more closely as [...]

The Rocky Mountain News reports that Bates was facing reassignment within the coaching staff. The report also indicates that current Defensive Coordinator/Secondary Bob Slowik will now oversee the entire defense.

For the veterans on this team, the frustration of losing like we have lately permeates past the game field and into the locker room and practice field. You can see it in someone like John Lynch during his press interviews - he’s a little less happy. He smiles less. He has less [...]

– Mike Shanahan 8/10/07

NOTES AND NEWS FROM DAY TWO OF TRAINING CAMP:
“That long arm’s going to be home for you baby, home! That’s the leverage we’ve got to have, gentlemen!”
– Jim Bates, in reference to a great play by Elvis Dumervil
So, Day #2 is in the books.
The Broncos had another great day of practice. [...]
