John Elway has clearly stated that the new Broncos regime is all about transparency. Despite the the complete openness of the front office, the minds of Bronco fans are extremely convoluted when it comes to the quarterback situation.

Elway’s recent comments are not helping the situation at all. According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, John Elway has recently stated:

“We’re always looking for that guy,” Elway said, when asked specifically about the so-called “franchise quarterback of the future.” “We may already have the guy who can pull the trigger and win us a championship someday. We may have him. We don’t know. We believe in Tim [Tebow] but he’s not there yet.”

Now, I’m not trying to stir the pot, I’m just calling the events like I see them. It is hard not to be a little suspicious of the front offices’ intentions with all the workouts they’ve held with potential high round quarterback prospects like Jake Locker and Blaine Gabbert.

Like I’ve said before either the front office doesn’t believe at all in Tim Tebow or they’re trying their damn hardest to fool everyone into believe so.

What do you think Bronco nation? Are all of these stunts illusions or indications?

it's all a joke.. we have the second pick! we are trying to get teams to bit on Orton, or worry that we actually want a qb so they try and trade up… “We are always looking for that guy,” seems like a total dodge of a question to me…

If Tebow gets traded, we will only regret it. there is no good end to that situation. the one player that has excited a dismal franchise is now, “not that guy?” he works harder than anyone in the league, trading him will give him one more “they told me I couldn't do it” on his commercial… do we really want to be that team? Cause we are looking for “that guy”…

I don't buy it for a second, Elway's transparency is as thick as those teeth…
