Keeping up with Ebenezer Ekuban these days is tricky. Adam Schefter of the NFL Network reported that the Denver Broncos had come to an agreement with Ekuban for a one-year deal. The news was still appearing on the NFLN ticker the last time I checked at around 11am MST.
It is important to note [...]

The Denver Broncos signed tight end Nate Jackson to a two-year deal, the Denver Post reports. Jackson’s contract is worth $2 million, including some escalators.

Scroll down the blog for last night’s news… we stayed up late so you didn’t have to. Big news from John Engelberger, Ebenezer Ekuban, not as big news from John Lynch, Jason Elam, and then some could-have-been Broncos including Jonathan Vilma and Shaun Rogers made some noise.

Domonique Foxworth may not be going anywhere after [...]

After sitting on the fence for months, it appears that 9-time Pro Bowl safety John Lynch is leaning toward returning for another year in the NFL. The Broncos, however, want the team captain to take a paycut in order to return to the squad next season.
Talks between the parties heated up Wednesday afternoon and [...]

Alas, free agency’s first real heartbreaker - Jets middle linebacker Jonathan Vilma has been traded to the Saints.   The fact of the matter is that the Broncos never showed real interest in Vilma, only fan speculation (such as my own) was linking the two teams in a trade.  He would have looked great in orange [...]

Free agency has officially begun, and already we’re making a little noise. Frankly, most of it is the type of noise I like to hear - in house, and not trying to make a big splash.
Consider this an open thread. Stop by if you hear any news and post it in the comments!
Engelberger, [...]

Jason Elam, Broncos franchise record holder in both games played and points scored, becomes an unrestricted free agent at 10:01 PM MT tonight. The franchise kicker for the Broncos helped the team win 4 of their 7 games by kicking game-winning field goals last year.
Both Mike Shanahan and Elam have expressed interest in his [...]
