We will be updating this list to include confirmed draft prospects the Denver Broncos have spoken with and/or worked out leading up to draft day on Thursday, April 25.  To see Denver’s 2013 draft order, go here.

It should be noted that last year, Denver barely talked to defensive lineman Derek Wolfe leading up to the draft and were googly over quarterback Brock Osweiler throughout the process.  The team went on to draft both players, so take their pre-draft conversations and workouts with a grain of salt.

Sandcastle at 28 would be an absolute steal…

Need to add Ryan Swope (at the Senior Bowl) and no RBs???Very very disappointed

Do you have a link to Swope saying he spoke with the team? And I’m sure they talked to RBs, just no confirmed reports (yet),

  • Pete Baron

It’s worth noting that they have John Lynch helping them evaluate and scout the DBs. He was a special invite by Elway.

  • Pete Baron

They have Lynch helping, which is probably why they haven’t focused on RBs yet

    Word… That kidd is a freak…

  • Jim_Jebow

when did you become funny doom? lol

  • Jim_Jebow

I’m guessing Rod Smith would help out if asked too

  • Doom92

    lol… I’ve always been funny… No really,,, ;-)

  • Pete Baron

TD would tell Elway to take Montee Ball (like I would tell him if I had his Bat Phone number)… haha

  • Cheyenne Kid

A lot of good prospects, but the rb postion is notable by its exception, but I am sure they have and I would love Montee Ball too!

  • cdubarkansasrep

I want Tavon AUSTIN!!!!!!!!! I have been hounding you guys about him before the cobine. Now look what he did he had some of the best looking hands in the combine. I also believe that the Lattimore kid will be the steal of the draft. As the name may hint to being from the great natural state of Arkansas I have seen him trammple many of Hogs through the years s. I’ve been keeping up with him a little and the kid is motivated to be the best trust and believe. Ow and yes I posted this in the other thread I just wanted to be heard lol

i wonder if prime could still really play

  • Pete Baron

Not even close. He was slow, injury prone, and exposed when he retired from Baltimore 7-8 years ago. That tank is Sahara Desert dry.

I think he’s like 51… I’d love to see him try, but I bet he’d be really slow…

  • TheTroglodyte

Yep exactly. However, I did see him run a 4.4 – 40 about 2 years ago still. He may not have it on the field any longer but for a 45 year old guy he can sure run a mean straight line.

  • TheTroglodyte

lol… Ball is a steal in the 3rd. We should move up to take him there if he is still around.

  • http://thingsatrexdoes.tumblr.com Mike Birtwistle

He’s still better than any of us will ever be ;-)

  • Pete Baron

shit, he’s lost more steps than I ever had. haha

  • Pete Baron

I’m not sure Ball will make it out of the 1st, let alone 2nd… If we don’t take him with our 1st round pick, and he hits the middle of the 2nd round ahead of a team that could use an upgrade at RB, I’d trade up to snatch him.

  • Pete Baron

He was really “slow” when he retired in 2005. And by slow, I mean GameDay slow. Dude can still run fast, but that’s about all he has left. Everything else that is needed to play in the NFL has long since passed him by.

  • TheTroglodyte

I don’t think there is any chance he goes in the 1st. I’d actually be shocked if he goes until at least mid way through the 2nd.

Lacy may not even go in the 1st round this year. If we are going to move up to grab someone in the 2nd, for me it would have to be Lacy.

  • Tyler

They’ve also talked to UConn LB Sio Moore at the East-West Shrine Game… http://www.milehighreport.com/2013/2/26/4033660/2013-nfl-draft-prospects-sio-moore-scouting-profile-denver-broncos

  • robtink242

We’re gonna get the Honey Badger in the 3rd-4th round.

  • LEMarkley

Taylor would be a great grab and probably will be there in the third round. He’s a great pass protector, very intelligent, and still has enough skills to be an every down back. I really liked watching him a Stanford this past season

    Thanks, Tyler.
