On Monday, Denver Broncos guard Zane Beadles and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas were added to the Pro Bowl roster as first alternates.
Beadles and Thomas will be replacing New England’s Logan Mankins and Wes Welker, who both withdrew from the game with injuries. Â The Broncos’ Ryan Clady also withdrew from the game last week with a shoulder injury.
Beadles and Thomas will both be making their Pro Bowl debuts, joining Denver’s coaching staff, quarterback Peyton Manning, cornerback Champ Bailey, outside linebacker Von Miller, and defensive end Elvis Dumervil. Â A total of six Broncos are expected to participate in the game.
The Pro Bowl will kickoff next Sunday (January 27th) at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
