Peyton Manning

This was the Peyton Manning that Denver Broncos fans have been waiting for.

The doubters who found a voice after Peyton Manning struggled in his first two preseason games in a Denver Broncos uniform have been silenced.

Manning was nearly perfect in Week Three against the San Francisco 49ers.

The 36-year-old looked to be in his prime against Jim Harbaugh‘s heralded defense, completing 10 of 12 passes (83%) for 122 yards in under one quarter of work. Two of his passes went for touchdowns to Eric Decker, while another was a beautiful 38-yard sideline bomb to Lance Ball. The Broncos scored on all three drives under Manning, gaining a 17-0 lead on the 49ers.

Manning was a perfect 8-for-8 on his two touchdown drives.

Hope Harbaugh enjoyed his “evaluation” of Manning first-hand at Sports Authority Field at Mile High today. I know I did. Are the cobwebs shaken off Broncos fans, or are you still exercising caution?

Never been nervous watching a preseason game until this year. Manning looked great. I was impressed with Mcgahee, sure doesnt run like his age. Positive outcome thats for sure.

If Peyton Manning is exquisite, Caleb Hanie is excruciating!

McGahee, Ball and Moreno all looked really good.

Until that touchdown drive he just put together anyway.

  • Brandon Kirk

Manning was as good as ever, Moreno was surprisingly efficient, McGahee looked like he was about 25, Doom and Gloom had a few great stops, Defense looked solid. Bring on the steelers!

I’m staying cautious, but I cannot wait for 9/9.

Hey guys! Anyone know if the game today is replaying on TV? I live in Denver if that makes any difference. Been moving all day and didn’t get a chance to watch the game. Was hoping they might replay later tonight. Thanks!

  • BroncoMan24

When is the replay on this game. I live in Denver, but had to move all day. Thanks!

Caleb looked better than Brock. ;)

First team offense and defense were exceptional. For the second week in a row everything after them was pretty much patheic. This is going to be a very good squad, but not much depth. Injuries will be the key factor as to how far they go.

    NFL Network, 10pm MT Tuesday.

    Hands down!!!

  • Doom92

I don’t agree 100%. McGahee looked really good. Ball looked good and Moreno looked OK. For every good thing Moreno does he backs it up with something not good, not consistant at all.

  • Doom92

Yep, thats pretty much where it is…

Doom – curious to know where you feel they have depth. Never thought I’d say this, but D-line actually appears to have a little depth, beyond that I’m not so sure.
