Joe Mays

Free agent Joe Mays has planned visits to the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts, Mike Klis reports. The Denver Broncos middle linebacker had 75 tackles as a starter for the Broncos in 2011.

Wesley Woodyard is also a free agent, leaving the Broncos with 2011 third round draft pick Nate Irving as the only middle linebacker currently on their books. Is Irving ready? Probably not. Linebacker will clearly be a priority in this year’s draft if the Broncos lose Mays and Woodyard.

Sorry Mr. Mays, but you are a backup at best! you did good.. but not good enough

Mays was good, but we need a solid guy in the inside. I miss Al Wilson. Since were bringing in all these old free agents might as well call London Fletcher

Jameel McClain is going to visit the Broncos, he would be a perfect fit!

ihope denver can get a guy like McClain because we need to put together a solid hard hitting ball hungry defense and i am hoping Dawkins can come back strong and play another year or 2. but only if he can stay healthy and not try to break the bank.
