Some people like to have the last word. Others, the first.

Tim Tebow will take both, thankyouverymuch.

The media magnet has already turned down many-a-network appearance offer in the 18 days since the Denver Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs (yes, it’s only been that long). He’d been offered to sit-in with the NFL on CBS Crew during Championship Weekend, Saturday Night Live was rumored to have invited him to host (he’s already sorta done the cameo thing), and there are Dancing with the Stars contestants publicly vying for him to join the cast.

No, Tebow has mostly been staying in Denver, but that won’t keep him from making a few television stops this week.

Tonight, Tebow will appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon (12:35/11:35 CT) as the show broadcasts from the site of Super Bowl XLVI, Indianapolis. On Friday, ESPN 2 assistants will be closely monitoring Skip Bayless‘s vitals as the quarterback visits his biggest media fan on First Take (10 a.m. ET).

Set your TiVo’s, Tebowmania is about to invade your television yet again.

Lol. So much for the previous tebow article saying he was avoiding all appearances, staying in denver and working on his MANY areas.

He already failed at improving over last offseason. Exactly WHAT can be asked of him that hasnt been, already?

Everytime he airmails a pass, or buries one in the turf, these “appearances” are gonna be mighty heavy of burden. Afterall, how many months to erase, teach, train and retain to overcome years of doing it the wrong way?

    What article was that?

The Daily Links – I did spend a paragraph mentioning how he HAS turned down a bunch of stuff. But it IS Super Bowl week, and he was the biggest story in the NFL. Both these appearances will be from Indy. It’s fine he’s there.

One thing I never question is Tebow’s work ethic.  Throughout his whole life, anyone who has worked with him has actively praised his insatiable hunger to learn more and to become better.  He has possessed strong work ethic since he was a little boy on the farm.  Yes, he will have to overcome the obstacle of unlearning bad throwing mechanics that has been ingrained in his mind, but I hardly think that it means that he cannot have times of rest and social interaction.

Our bodies need rest.  We can’t constantly be working it without doing damage to it.  So, I hardly think a few guest appearances means that he is sitting around doing nothing to improve.

Oh.  I thought he was referring to an article somebody wrote on BT…

Tebow is coming to my church in a couple weeks, I will make sure to have him throw me some passes so his appearance doesn’t stifle his growth as a QB.

I heard he spent five minutes on the toilet the other day playing Angry Birds and reading twitter.  He could’ve spent that time becoming a 70%-completion passer.

Funny. I knew these would follow.

Yeah cuz you’re a douche and anyone else who questions Tim Tebow’s work ethic is just as much of one. His work ethic is one of the things we absolutely shouldn’t question. Besides, Tebow’s body still needs some time to recover.

Lucky for you, you don’t have people to point out your daily flaws at work, home, and elsewhere.

Tebow can’t train right now with his rib injuries.  Have you been in a closet?

  • rcsodak

Oh bullshit! That isn’t keeping him away from reviewing tapes, learning how to read elementary defenses, etc.
Quit being his patsie for crap’s sake.
