It was January 11, 1987 when John Elway drove the Denver Broncos 98 yards in five minutes to tie the AFC Championship Game against the Cleveland Browns. Watch the monumental Broncos series in its entirety as we celebrate new monuments in Broncos playoff history today.

    Two thoughts:
    1) Obviously, Elway needs to find an exact replica of that incredible fur coat Bowlen was sporting on the sideline.  He must then watch the NE game from the sideline and yell things like “C’mon, Timmy!”
    2) I had forgotten about the awesomeness that was the barefoot Carlis. Kickers really need something to make them look even a tiny bit tough, and I think the barefoot-in-January-in-New England look is the way to go for Prater.

I remember how great that day was.  I really do miss the old uniform.

    Absolutely classic!

Kicking 59 yard game savers shows a king size pair I would say!

I’ll never forget that moment. Was sitting in a rocker recliner and when the ball hit Mark Jackson’s hands I litterally flipped the chair over backwards!
