The Denver Broncos originally scheduled John Fox‘s weekly Monday day-after-the-game press conference for 12:15 p.m. MT today.

At 11:30 a.m., they announced it had been pushed back nearly two hours to 2:00 p.m.

It’s now 3:45 p.m., and, according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post and Andrew Mason of MaxDenver.com, Fox is still a no-show. The reason?

Film study.

Coach decided the Broncos needed a lot of it after that loss.

A full team film session is not typical for a Monday workday at Dove Valley. But neither should 26-point losses be typical for a Sunday.

I love it. Get to it, boys.

UPDATE: Fox arrived moments after this published. He apologized to the waiting media and explained that the entire team watched film from all four games this season, something he says he’s always done at the quarter mark. Funny that the Broncos didn’t schedule accordingly.

Do you ever get the feeling somebody is a B. S. artist?

    Every coach in general.

Sure didn’t take long for the conspiracy theorists to chime in.

Now wipe away the tears and prepare to watch them beat the chargers!

If Tebow starts maybe otherwise we get killed! We’ve seen enough of Orton to know he can’t lead his team.

The scheduling mix-up was probably Orton’s fault.

Maybe instead of having the team watch tape, maybe Fox should watch tape on Orton…

teeheehee…i git it,you makin Orton seem funny too…heeeheee

Orton is 6-20.   6 and 20…..that’s not even good in baseball.  There are no more excuses anyone could possibly come up with.

I started working on the house at half-time.  Pat, that is all you need to know.  I would rather work then watch Orton.

I think John Fox  is loser that’s why he’s mind can’t see winning, he will stick with Orton to give him experience with his system and make an excuse later after a losing season. How many years he need to start to learn(Orton).

I can’t wait for these coaches and fumblemania running back supporting Orton excuses at the end of the season winning maybe 4 or 5 games.

    Good Luck Broncos fans

Fox take note: this a business! It’s about winning! If your so called leader continues to turn the ball over and over costing games, when is it enough? Your not in Carolina anymore, we expect to WIN! Orton would make a good back up, just ask Chicago. Time to bench him and give someone else a chance. This not about Orton, its about winning!!!

I got to give you credit Herc, you are going to dance with him till the end!  I only hope someone soon pulls the plug on the band and sends them onto their next gig.

    Prolly is…lol.

Not buying Foxie’s story on this one.  If watching all this film at the 1/4 mark of the season is S.O.P. for him, he’s either really scatterbrained, wanted to give the media a big “up yours” moment, or something out of the ordinary happened.

WHEN THEY HIRED THIS GUY (COX) I WAS CONFUSSED.  IF HE WOULD HAVE BEEN WINNING IN CAROLINA HE’D STILL BE THERE. THERE WERE SOME OTHER TALANTED COACHES AROUND.  ELWAY WAS A GREAT Q-BACK AFTER HE FOUND OUT TO TAKE SNAPS FROM A CENTER NOT A GUARD.  IT’S STILL HARD FOR ME TO ROOT FOR ANOTHER TEAM AS I’VE LIVED IN FLORIDA FOR 25 YEARS AND I’VE ALWAYS BEEN A BRONCO FAN, BUT MAYBE I’M AS BLIND AS THESE TWO GUYS.  NO—————–I’M NOT…CHARGER WILL STOMP THE BRONCO’S AND COX WILL PUT TEBOW IN WITH 8 MINUTES OF THE LAST QUARTER AND TELL US ALL THAT HE TOLD US HE SHOULD STICK WITH ORTON.
