Brodrick Bunkley

(Try saying that ten times fast).

Denver Broncos defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley was a participant in the team’s first full practice in preparation of their season opener against the Oakland Raiders Monday night, the Denver Post reports. Bunkley and Marcus Thomas (status unkown) have been sidelined with knee and pectoral injuries, respectively.

The team’s first injury report, which will disclose each player’s official practice participation status, is expected later today.

The Broncos are hopeful to have two of their better DTs in rotation as they prepare to face Darren McFadden and Michael Bush, but they may have to settle for one.  We’ll update if we hear more definite word on Thomas.

Good to hear.  I hope Thomas is not far behind.  I will feel a little better about our game on Monday if Thomas is also ready to play.  Go Broncos!!!
