Harvey Steinberg: 3, Anyone else vs. Players on the Denver Broncos: 0 (that is an unofficial score, just off the top of my head and complete sarcasm).
Some good pre-draft news for fans of the Broncos for a change.
Charges that were filed in October 2010 by a parking lot attendant at Invesco Field against Elvis Dumervil for allegedly disturbing the peace and assaulting the attendant have been dropped according to his attorney. The Denver Post‘s Mike Klis was first to report.
“He never should have been charged in the first place,†said Steinberg. “And the press coverage should be the same not that his case has been dismissed as when he was charged.â€
The trial would have began April 5th.
Steinberg is also representing Perish Cox in his upcoming trial.
Great news for fans, in what has been a slow off-season thus far. I think that fans often forget about the fact that Dumervil is still on the roster when convincing themselves that Denver has a terrible front seven.
