Former Tarheel track star, current Inside the NFL, Fox-31 KDVR‘s (and friend of the site) Josina Anderson tweeted late Monday night that she had spoken to Harvey Steinberg, Travis Henry Brandon Marshall Perrish Cox‘s attorney.

Steinberg stated that rumors of Cox’s trial being set for Wednesday were, “Completely false,” and that “[The case is] not even set for trial yet. Probably sometime in September or October.”

So maybe that’s why the Broncos weren’t at Patrick Peterson‘s Pro Day.

Now, I’m not even going to say in the event that there is an NFL season in September (besides just that time there), but Cox would be available for any off-field, unorganized and organized team activities. As well as at least a quarter of the season and presumably longer (as the trial went on) for the Denver Broncos.

That and Steinberg’s an incredible attorney. Given that fact, I don’t know that Cox will be missing any time, period.

So, are we supposed to be excited that Cox, who didn't show any ability last season, might come back for another season of blunders????

Why wait? If he is not guilty then get it over with and get on with your life. If he is guilty then he belongs in jail.

It's more about determining need for draft I think. If Cox won't be available the secondary is a gigantic need as opposed to just being a Best Player Available or free agency situation.

    absolutely!

BTW I see on FB …Happy Birthday Kyle.

WE still need a play maker on DEf. Draft Patrick start him with Cox and move Bailey to Safety!

Even if Cox is available there's STILL a giant need at that position!! About the only thing the guy was good at was drawing penalties. He was rarely in position to make a play on the ball. I find no reason to be disappointed if he's not around!
