Former Tarheel track star, current Inside the NFL, Fox-31 KDVR‘s (and friend of the site) Josina Anderson tweeted late Monday night that she had spoken to Harvey Steinberg, Travis Henry Brandon Marshall Perrish Cox‘s attorney.
Steinberg stated that rumors of Cox’s trial being set for Wednesday were, “Completely false,” and that “[The case is] not even set for trial yet. Probably sometime in September or October.”
So maybe that’s why the Broncos weren’t at Patrick Peterson‘s Pro Day.
Now, I’m not even going to say in the event that there is an NFL season in September (besides just that time there), but Cox would be available for any off-field, unorganized and organized team activities. As well as at least a quarter of the season and presumably longer (as the trial went on) for the Denver Broncos.
That and Steinberg’s an incredible attorney. Given that fact, I don’t know that Cox will be missing any time, period.
