The Denver Broncos just completed a hellish game in Baltimore.  If Vegas odds mean anything, they’re not out of the fire yet.

The New York Jets join the Ravens as co-favorites to win the Super Bowl at 7/1 odds this week, according to Bodog.com.  The Broncos will face the two best perceived teams in the NFL in back-to-back weeks.

“With the Packers losing this week the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets have taken over as the co-Super Bowl favorites at 7-1,” Bodog sportsbook manager Richard Gardner said. “Both these teams have shown they can produce offensively and defensively and looks like the Jets are not a one hit wonder.”

The Broncos lost to the Ravens 31-17 in Week 5 and are 3-point underdogs in their Week 6 match against the Jets.  They have declared their game against the Jets Orange Sunday in Denver, and are holding a pep rally featuring players and alumni Friday afternoon.  Players will wear their orange alternate jerseys on Sunday, and fans are encouraged to “orange out” INVESCO Field at Mile High.

Since the start of the season, the Broncos have gone from 65/1 odds to 100/1 odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Broncos have their work cut out for them, but any home game is a should-win game, period.  Who else is fired up to rain on the Jets’ Super Bowl parade in October?
