Unlike Chuck Cecil‘s middle finger, we’ll let the final score do the talking.

Your best guess for Mr. Cecil’s fine, which is probably already in the mail, in the comments.

Check it out on “The Tube”: Hilarious…but no doubt expensive!

We're guessing a $100k fine for ol' Cecil. Let's hear your bets!

I am hearing six-figures as well… Which to an asst. head coach is like an annual salary, this mistake will be detrimental to him and his family.

  • herc_rock

Cecil won't pay it himself. The team will pay it or the D will chip in on it.

  • herc_rock

    $25K

I remember that being against the rules, maybe not for coaching staff.

  • anthony33

Check out Cutler getting PUMMELED!!!!!! Love it.

  • therealch3

Yo Kyle here's an animated gif of it http://i55.tinypic.com/2aa124o.jpg

  • roshon2411

$125,000, Bud Adams got $250,000 last year.

  • Aaa

Let the final score do the talking? I don't think I'd be bragging. Ya'll barely made it and wouldn't have without some help from the refs.

  • Zion

Ah, (pun intended) so you don't think it was that kickoff blunder or Kenny Britt's last-second unheroics that made the difference at the end? You're gonna blame the refs for a questionable ball spot when those same refs probably could have thrown twice as many flags on the Titans D with how cheap they were playing? It'll be a crime if Cecil is the only Titan who gets fined this week.

That totally made my day!!! That body language was priceless… Jake plummer should take notes… If you're going to let the bird out of the cage you gotta go all out! I'm still laughing… hahaha

  • Aggie-taco

dont mean to offend you bro man, if those shots were considered cheap its pretty sad how soft football is getting man

  • monto

$150k, it was televised and he had a DUI a few years ago so wouldn't be surprised if it was more

  • http://www.broncotalk.net Josh Temple

I've always laughed at that notion. What's going to keep players or coaches from exchanging cold hard cash other than tax issues?

  • http://nation.theorangepage.com/blog Ian Henson

The fact that the last coach who got caught cheating got knocked for half a million :P

  • Bubula

Fine him and suspend him for a few games. This is not what I want to teach my kids about sports. No class.

  • areferee

I agree. A monetary sum is insufficient. He intentionally mocked the game by his affront to the game officials. A fine AND a suspension is in order. I say 50K and a 2 week suspension.

(But then, I'm a referee and I've been flipped off for FREE!)

  • herc_rock

What does Cecil make? A half-mil per year maybe tops? You can't fine a guy that big of a percentage of his salary. A billionaire owner getting fined $250K for this kind of thing is no precedent.

I don't think it will be anywhere near six figures.

  • herc_rock

It happens all the time. Cortland Finnegan has already said the D will chip in on any fine.

  • Gary_in_SD

I had to explain what that meant to my very young son, or at least the PG version. Then explain why he can't ever do that himself. Way earlier than I should have had to. I hope they hammer this jerk for at least 6 figures and a suspension!

  • Zion

Watch the game again and check out Cortland Finnegan deliberately hitting Chris Kuper in the head when his helmet was off. Tell me that wasn't a cheap shot.

  • herc_rock

    The fine was $40K.

  • areferee

I got it, I like it and he IS!

  • areferee

Not good enough. The commish disappoints me. He should do a little time out.

  • Gary_in_SD

Hope it costs him more much down the road because that was just plain ugly. Hope the embarrassment is unbearable!
