Ryan Clady

Josh McDaniels dropped the best injury news the Broncos have been able to give in a long, long time Tuesday, headlined by the expected return of Denver’s 325-pound Pro Bowl left tackle Ryan Clady.

Clady, who injured his knee during the offseason and has missed the team’s OTA’s and training camp, is expected to return to practice Wednesday.

“He did a great job on everything he could control,” McDaniels said. “We feel like he’s on the right timetable.”

Also expected to return to practice this week are rookie wide receiver Demaryius Thomas (Tuesday), running back Correll Buckhalter (Tuesday), and running back LenDale White (Wednesday), McDaniels said. Cornerback Champ Bailey, guard Chris Kuper, and linebacker D.J. Williams, who have all missed time and been limited the past few weeks, are expected to participate more this week.

The return of Buckhalter, White and Kuper will give the Broncos’ ground game a much-needed boost. Meanwhile, Williams is finding his stride just as the Broncos continue to shuffle their linebacking corps, releasing Akin Adoyele Tuesday and moving Mario Haggan back inside.

With the Broncos finally able to fill the crest of their depth chart with actual healthy bodies, we’re beginning to get our first real look at what this 2010 squad will look like. It appears the third preseason game will be the real skirmish to watch — it’ll be the only glimpse we get at our starters at nearly full strength.

Very nice scoop Kyle! Before MHR and PFT. Nice.

Absolute great news! Best of this miserable camp. Hoping he is 100% and not coming back too fast, God knows we need him.

    Come on Moreno… let's go.

    Kyle's the MAN…

Now, look deeply into your crystal ball and tell us who is next. I'll bet Ayodele was a bit of a surprise for the K-Man. Who will it be as we cut down to 75? Another running back…receiver…(?)…now's your chance to be Bronco Talk's resident clairvoyant…

Thank god. Now we just need Knowshon to get back out there. I still think that kid is going to be soooooo goood, if he can stay healthy.

I predict… Tyler Polumbus. Don't look at the front page.

And Ayodele wasn't that surprising. He wasn't going to make 53 and this gives him a chance to land somewhere else.

*Fist Pump* *Beats up the beat*

Guessing who will be cut is beyond being mean, but I caught the 4th quarter of the Detroit Lions game again ridiculously early this morning/late last night and I can pop off a few more linemen. Who won't be making the team unfortunately.

And by 2012 if you can't play fullback and/or H-back in the new Denver Broncos offense there may be no room for you at all.

    This is the future.

Totally blew past reading that Thomas is in the group coming back. I really liked what little I saw of him. B Marshall with brains and no tude.

Watched Lendale White's interview on the Bronx web site. If he can keep his head on straight, which is probably a long shot I know, he could end up being the best off season aquisition.

There is now a glimmer hope with Buckhalter, Moreno and White along with a healthy Clady to once again have a running game. Imagine what that would do for Mr. Orton.

Starting to get excited again. This camp has bascially been a nightmare since day one. Maybe it's all out of the way.

Good news about Clady's comeback today, but the scuttlebutt circulating about Thomas is very troubling. Some reports have him out for the season opener and McD is avoiding the subject.

He can't be an impact player from the bench or IR. Are we in trouble with our first pick? Will he ever be healthy? I'm getting concerned!

    What has BT heard?
