UPDATE: Marshall is expected to be in Seattle on Saturday per Adam Schefter.

Adam Schefter Oh boy — Brandon Marshall expected to be in Seattle on Saturday to visit the Seahawks and see if they can hammer out an offer sheet.

Yep you heard it, Adam Schefter said it. It was on the Sports Center so if you weren’t watching you’ll have to take my word for it. Anything Schefter says is usually set in stone. According to the former Denver Post reporter, the Seahawks are considering extending an offer sheet Brandon Marshall and in compensation the Broncos will receive the sixth overall pick. With the loss of Nate Burleson this move does make sense.

Adam Schefter If Seattle signs Brandon Marshall to the offer sheet, Broncos would have seven days to match — or get back the draft’s sixth overall pick.

The Seahawks have also scheduled a visit with Ben Hamilton.

More details up later!

Sixth overall pick? What an insane compensation.

MAKE THE DEAL!!! MARSHALL WILL NEVER BE HAPPY. TAKE THE 2 PICKS AND DRAFT MORE DEFENSE. HOW DID THE PLAYMAKERS WORK OUT FOR US??? 2 YEARS AGO WE COULD SCORE 40 BUT WE GAVE UP 45. PLAY DEFENSE AND RUN THE BALL. JETS, RAVENS, AND BENGALS DID IT THAT WAY. WE ARE ONLY A FEW PLAYERS FROM BEING AWESOME ON D. WE ARE SET AT DB'S. WE NEED A FRONT SEVEN THAT WONT GET TIRED. LET MAKE IT HAPPEN!

So how pist are you guys going to be when the broncos trade brandon marshall to seattle for a 2nd round pick this year and a third round pick next year? Because that's how it's going to go down…

I WISH WE WOULD HAVE TRADED FOR BOLDIN. I THINK PICKING UP RB JONES WOULD BE A GOOD MOVE. WE NEED WORKOUT WARRIORS ON THIS TEM THE MORE THE BETTER. JONES AND MORENO WOULD BE NICE. WE HAVE A GREAT O LINE AND THAT IS WERE IT STARTS ON OFFENSE. I KNOW IT HURTS THAT ALPHONSO SMITH MIGHT BE A BUST BUT THAT IS THE NFL. LETS GET PAST THAT AND LOOK TO GET BETTER. IF WE CAN GET JOEY PORTER IN HERE LETS DO THAT TOO. THAT GUY PLAYS HARD AND WILL PUSH THE REST OF THE BUNCH. DEFENSE DEFENSE DEFENSE.

ANYONE WHAT THE CAP NUMBER IS FOR CHAMP? IM TELLING YOU HE NEEDS TO GO. GREAT YEARS FOR US BUT WE CAN TAKE THAT $ AND USE IT FOR THE FRONT SEVEN. GOODMAN, SMITH, DAWKINS, AND MAYS WORKS FOR ME IF WE HAVE A FRONT 7 THAT LOOKS SOMETHING LIKE THIS ELVIS AYERS PORTER MCLAIN AND A FRONT 3 WITH SIZE.

  • 12508

TAYLOR MAYS IS GOING TO BE A HALL OF FAMER. IM TELLING YOU HE IS THE NEXT RONNIE LOTT.

  • 12508

MAYS AND MCLAIN IN THE 1ST ROUND? THAT WOULD BE AWESOME. TAKE THAT 6TH PICK FROM THE HAWKS AND TRADE DOWN IF TAKING MAYS IS TO HIGH FOR A 6TH AND THEN GET MCLAIN.

This trade will NOT happen.. Seattle is not willing to give up a 1st rounder.. Especially given Boldwin to Philly trade..

As a seahawk fan, Marshall needs to stay in Denver.. best for both parties.. No trade..

I would rather have my little sister than clausen, B Marsh is one of the top 5 in the NFL. period. McDaniels has traded away all pro-bowlers we get. if dumervil goes too i would hope mcdaniels gets capped. he's a punk but he gets it done and the broncos would be worse off without him.

  • WhidbeyBronco

and as you can see the last game we played lloyd and gaffney came in and looked like superstars. We have the talent with royal gaffney and lloyd to fill brandons spot, so i say ship him out only if it means the 6th overall pick if not then no way.
