With Larsen out I hope we see Peyton Hillis at fullback. I'm sure Stokley will take Eddie's role.

  • Big_Pete

Hillis should be at FB, but all that means is that he will yet again get zero carries.
Also, I'd see Stoke staying in his role, just with Gaffney taking Royal's spot. That'll allow them to double Marshall that much easier.
I hear Westbrook will be back for this game. Just what we needed, a dangerous RB making his triumphal return against our D.

even if peyton isn't featured at all, his pass protection might catch coaches eye… of course it's the halfback position where our pass protection is lacking. Having Bucky back against his old team might be a boost…

I don't care if he gets zero carries. The kid likes to hit people and if i were moreno or buckhalter i would LOVE to follow somebody who is just looking to putt somebody on their ass. Not to mention that he has great hands out of the backfield.

The Peyton Hillis thing still infuriates me. He's not the end-all solution to the Broncos' problems, but he's a good player.

    100% agreed

I am watching channel 4 news and they just said HILLIS WILL START!

I don't think so either. But I don't think that he should be standing on the sidelines . The kid has a lot and I would like to see what he's got. Maybe we are all wrong and are over hyping his skills.

    Changing subjects:
So… what happens with the money Bowlen owes Shanahan if he takes the Florida job? I believe Bowlen would get a reprive if he signs with another NFL team… not so sure about a college program.

I'm not positive but I think it's ANY coaching job. It'll be nice to have the extra millions of dollars to spend on players.
