Darcel McBath David Bruton Tom Brandstater
McBath, Bruton and Brandstater

The Denver Broncos have announced the signings of rookies Darcel McBath, David Bruton, and Tom Brandstater Sunday evening, hours before rookies are expected to report for training camp. Rookies and quarterbacks begin camp practices Monday, while the full team begins workouts Thursday.

The Broncos’ remaining unsigned draft choices are running back Knowshon Moreno and linebacker Robert Ayers, both drafted in the first round.

Excellent to see the Broncos burning the midnight oil to get this done. On the other hand, the latest on Ayers is that he and the Broncos might not come to terms before practice tomorrow. A source close to the situation told FOX 31 that the two sides were “still a ways” apart, and were “not on the phone now.” We’ll keep you posted. Press release after the jump.

Great job to the denver broncos front office for signing so many draft picks already. Seems to me like it is a slow year for signing first rounders anyway. I don’t know how many have signed so far. Wish this didn’t affect the Broncos so much more this year.

  • Kawike

Well, no other team in the AFC West has signed their first round picks either, and the Broncos have fewer to sign overall with moreno and ayers.

Good job on the Bronco’s for signing thier draft picks. I just don’t understand what the first round picks are waiting for, the unemployment line I hope. They don’t desire any special treatment, they are unproved and lucky to be offered what they were. Just think what job they would get at starting wages any where else. STOP crying and prove yourself then we can talk.

Good job by the Bronco’s front office in signing their draft picks. But are the first round draft picks waiting for, the unemployment line I hope. They are unproven and a BIG question mark. If they had any other job what would their starting wage be? So STOP your crying and sign on the dotted line. Prove yourself then we can talk.
