Broncos Taking Calls on Marshall

This comes as little surprise, and confirms most speculation, but the Denver Broncos are taking calls on wide receiver Brandon Marshall after the disgruntled fourth-year player asked to be traded in June, Adam Schefter reports on his Twitter page. Schefter indicates the Broncos aren’t actively making calls, but are willing to listen to offers.

If the right offer comes along (Schefter speculates a first-round draft pick would do it), the Broncos would likely execute a trade.

Schefter’s always spot-on, especially when it comes to the Broncos. Again, little surprise, but it does confirm most people’s speculation about how the Broncos are handling the BMarsh situation. Still, unless someone makes a significant offer, the Broncos plan to sit on Marshall.

    actually Dee it may not “rage” until week 17 at all. if the Bears start 6-0 then i win. but i dont think they will start 6-0.

    Five wins really? Remember they play Detriot twice and have Bengals, Browns, 49ers, Rams and Seahawks. To be honest, looking at their schedule they might have 6 wins by week 9.

    I know you have man-crush on Cutler (yes I went there, the gloves are off) but get real … he’s dumb as a brick, I predict 20+ interceptions … and a possible mental breakdown by mid-season …

    Roshon2411 … I know what I’m up against … I just dont think Cutler is a winner, he won’t have the receivers he had last year , and I dont think Chicago’s aging defense is anything that scares teams anymore.

    Kerry , I’ll one up you … I say the Broncos win the AFC WEST … If I’m right I become instantly a BT Legend, if you win BT readers will have to put up with your negativity for another season …

    All this can be altered if my boy Jarvis Moss breaks Cutler’s neck in the preseason game in Denver … Jarvis needs to send a message and do something to make the team .. ending Cutler’s career should be a good start to get into Mc’D’s good graces …

    (Of course I really dont want Cutler’s neck to break, but maybe if we could see him cry on TV after a hit … that would really make the season)

    Dee you are nuts. Vegas has the Bears over/under at 8.5 and if you take the over you’re laying 35 cents on the dollar.

    And if you think that it will come down to the last game that makes it an even worse bet. Detriot? Come on!

    I hope you’re right. I would love to see Cutler go down in flames this season but you’re either betting with your heart or you don’t like posting on this site very much. Maybe both. I will be happy when Chicago misses the playoffs despite whatever win total they have.

    I see da bears at 7-9 to 9-7.

    Here’s to Cutler leaving Mile High on a stretcher in August. Nothing career ending mind you, just a nice little season ending broken hand or ankle to wreck their season. Top 5 pick would be sweeeeet.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. come on man. put the kool-aid down. seriously. and no i dont have a man crush on Cutler, but i refuse to bash on the guy simply because he plays for a different team now. thats the only reason you and most bash on him now. you cant deny his talent, you cant deny he is the reason we went 8-8, and you cant deny the guy is a damn good QB. if you are gonna bash then bash because the guy is a bad QB, but dont bash because he isnt here anymore. i mean if Marshall is traded then are you gonna bash on Marhsall all the time? yeah probably.

    and the Bears may very well win the North this year. Matt Forte was a 1,200 yard, 9 TD RB last year WITH that bad line and no QB. so Cutler having a RB will take pressure off of him from having to throw it 80% percent of the time. so i think that kills your 20+ INT prediction. the Bears had the number 5 rushing defense last year WITHOUT a healthy Tommie Harris, who is healthy now. Cutler has Earl Bennett to throw to who played with Cutler at Vandy, so that chemistry is already in place. Devin Heater had 600 yards receiving with a shitty QB. who happens to play for us now. and the Bears have their first round pick Chris Williams, who was a first round pick, coming back healthy along with Orlando Pace, who is healthy. the Bears line is better then last year.

    Do you actually read my comments or do you skim over them? I didnt deny Cutler’s or Marshall’s talent …what I said is they are both dumb as bricks …. dont worry about quoting me stats and forecasts I’m not really interested …we’ll see what happens…

    if the Bears miss the playoff’s Im sure you’ll take credit for predicting that as well, seeing how you’re never wrong about anything … god you typed up an essay pratically… dont waste so much energy man … I really dont care.

    I dont hate the Bears, I dont hate Cutler… Do you I think Cutler is Intelligent? No…. I hope for the best Broncos love I love them as my team … I’m hoping I lose just so I dont have to respond to your comments anymore …

    You can talk about RB’s , WR’s , the LINE … it all starts with the QB and based on 3 years of what I’ve seen from Cutler … I know when the game is on the line , or when the team needs the next score … he’ll make the wrong decison. Cutler’s football IQ isnt even on the same level as Phillip Rivers , maybe athletically more but lacks in intelligence.

    Lets see how the season plays out… Im done talking about this

    All ya all are showing your lack of football intellengence ! It would nice to see denver get 6 wins but that a big gamble there. Ortin will almost defentley go down in week 3 and sims is a joke.Hate to say it the bears are playoff bound.
