Remember Back in 2007 Brandon Marshall was pulled over for suspicion of DUI? Well here’s the police report folks. According to the police report Marshall repeatedly asked for his lawyer over and over and the officer let him know each time that he could not have one yet. According the police report this prompted Marshall to say,

“That’s b******t, that’s a lie. Why aren’t you guys out there looking for William’s killer? I hate Denver, I hate this city, I hate f***ing city.”

Marshall was then escorted to the police headquarters where he blew a .116 BAC, which is over the legal limit.

No one can be positive that this actually happened the way it did but never the less another document has shown up unveiling Marshall’s character for yet another offseason. Remember the 911 tapes last year? Sheesh. Either Brandon Marshall makes a ton of mistakes or he is the most unfortunate man ever. If it’s the latter, Brandon Marshall has more unfortunate events then Lemony Snicket himself. Also drinking and driving is no joke, I and many others out there have lost close friends and family members to it.

This all did happen in the past but makes it a little more clear why Marshall wasn’t hesitant to ask for a trade. This doesn’t mean he’s always hated Denver, I’m sure his angry drunk venting was all just that but those are things you just can’t say. Marshall is just a young man who’s too quick to speak and never really thinks about what he’s doing. Take this incident out of the picture and you have:

  • Marshall “slipping on a McDonalds bag” a.k.a wrestling with a cousin and slamming into a glass TV stand.
  • Marshall allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend.
  • Marshall still going back to her.
  • Marshall then looking like a fool on ESPN.
  • Marshall almost giving the Browns a better field advantage with his glove stunt in the 4th quarter.
  • Marshall fighting with his fiance in public and getting arrested for it.

That’s just a few to name, feel free to list more in the comments. The point is, when will this all end? Will it ever end? Or is Brandon Marshall just a series of incidents after incidents?

The real question now is, even if Marshall isn’t traded this offseason what does his future in Denver look like? Let’s hear it Bronco fans.

hmmm….. they will listen for offers, but not make them. yep Marshall is gone. exactly what was said by McDaniels during the Cutler situation. “oh they called us, we didnt call them”. PFFFFTTTTTTTT

But a QB has so much more leverage than a WR. You of all people should know that.

    T-money:

it doesnt matter who has the levarage. if they are listening to offers then they want to deal him. if they were adamant about keeping him then they would tell everybody to fuck themselves. this is EXACTLY what happen with Cutler, its matter of time before Marshall walks. otherwise McDaniels wouldnt even listen to offers.

After being gone for a while I have finally read through all of the comments. I actually kind-of agree with Kerry on something. Ngata would do wonders for our defense. He is, in my opinion, one of the absolute best young d-tackles in the game. At just 25 yrs old, he has not even hit his prime yet. I doubt, however, the Ravens would ever trade him.

The only qestion is what will come first…a trade or Marshall back in jail.

    Timing is critical.

  • anthony33

    that’s QUESTION

    anthony:

yes that is a great question! we should dump Marshall and let some other team deal with his bullshit.
