The 2009 NFL Draft has arrived! The Denver Broncos are heading in a new direction, and the Broncos’ 10 selections in this draft will set the tone of this franchise for years to come. Will the Broncos find their next signal caller by selecting a quarterback in the first round? Will they uncover an impact defensive player? Will they address the running back situation early? There are plenty of questions, and soon enough, the throng of fans will have answers.

    I CANNOT believe we took Moreno… unfreakinbelievable… WHAT HAPPENED TO REBUILDING THE DEFENSE!?!?!?!??! Dammit I hate this team sometimes. It is beyond me why they took Moreno at 12, especially with Orapko still on the board.

    What a horrible draft for the Broncos! Does McDaniel follow Al Davis in the I don’t know how to evaluate talent department? I can’t believe that we will be the worst team in the NFL. Look out Detroit here we come!

    Okay–one of the best offenses in the NFL—-one of the worst defenses in the NFL—we pick up 3 average running backs in the off season—-we have 6 others on our roster, one very unproven—Ryan Torrian—so we have a different view between our coach and franchise QB—lose him—so in the draft we pickup a RB in th first round at #12—the altitude is effecting more than Jock McDumbasses head it is affecting his mind—idiot—then we pick up a one year wonder in Ayers. I am not a rocket sceintist but if the worst part of my team was defense—I would draft that way—Hey Bowlen, when you are looking for a new coach next year—give me a call—I know I could do a better job!!!!! Thanks for the laughs Jock McDumbass

    Guys read the comments about all four picks and the Broncos did very wll. All four of these guys will either start or be major contributors for the team. As far a Moreno goes watch out guys as he will challenge for the rookie of the year and the rushing title this year. For all of you bitching about taking Moreno rather than a defensive guys the 2,3 and 4 th picks are money also. I love what they have done so far.

    Kerry’s comment says it all. Someone PLEASE explain – other than Ayers – how any of these moves helps us with a 3-4? Kyle Orton and his 40 yd bombs and now this? I now know how a Detroit fan feels. Al Davis is laughing at us!

    I think Mr. Bolen is suffering from Dementia. He must have gone senile from watching his team blow a three game lead. Now they’ve blown the next decade. I think also he obviously has a cash flow problem too! those are the only explanations for his moves. And what kind of hold does Josh McBlowjob have on him to go along with his dumb ass moves. There must be some kind of Patriot or Belicheck conspiracy to undermine the Broncos; the team nemesis of the Patriots.

    Why would the Broncos trade two 3rd round picks to get another blocking tight end, when 3rd round picks are a Patriot forte and more valuable than a pick at the end of 2nd round ?

    I’ve been a long time season ticket holder and I think the Broncos have done a good job of getting good free agents in here and we did draft the best running back in the draft. This is no longer the old broncos so if your a fan of the broncos get on the band wagon and get with the program. As far as this draft I like the defensive help we got with Ayers,Smith and McBath. We will wait until next year to draft a top QB we still have a #1 pick. You do not have to like McDanials but he is here now all the haters need to do more homework before passing judgement.

    What, a shitty draft! Couldn’t make the blog but loved reading some of the comments. The highlights for me:

    Kerry, saying fuck my life and writing in all Caps the whole time. The bottle of Whiskey must have been going down smooth!

    The other, When someone jokingly said the broncos traded a 2nd for a 3rd, and the mass confusion that surronded the comment.

    All I have to say is if McDaniels loses to the Bungals opening week, fire his ass!

    I can’t believe neckbeard is going to be our QB. Wasn’t Gus Ferrotte available? As a broncos fan, I have to agree with Kerry, FUCK MY LIFE!
