Jay Cutler and Eddie Royal Chargers post game

Jay Cutler and Eddie Royal Chargers post game

At least that’s what Mike Klis says.  Hopefully it’s the beginning of the end in the Cutler/McDaniels soap opera.  Klis has stated in the Denver Post that the frenzy regarding Jay Cutler’s home sale is much to do about nothing.  Similar reports say that Cutler has been planning on selling the 7500sq ft home for the six months and will make his downtown Denver penthouse the main residence.  Klis’ source close to Jay is saying that “he will more than likely attend” McDaniel’s first team meeting this coming Monday.  Here’s to the drama ending so we can continue on with offseason as it should be.

And lets move past whose fault it is (if thats cool with you Mr. East) either way the big losers in this whole mess are the Denver Bronco fans.

Stop the whining! Remember this simple FACT! Jay Cutler has the privelage of playing in the NFL. For millions of dollars. Something THOUSANDS of other kids would love to have. This is a job (just like you and I have)and if you do or don’t perform the company has the right to pick the person they THINK would do it the best. He has no RIGHT to feel anything but “Thanks for picking ME to work for your company and I’ll do the best job I can whenever asked.” I like Cutler, but the same as with all pro players, play the game, if you don’t like your job or where you play……..MOVE ON! Best of luck to you in the future.

I am sick and damn tired of all this crap.

So Cutler is pissed because the broncos were shopping him… so he is deciding to skip OTA’s which could result in forcing the broncos to shop him some more. If the broncos were not shopping him before they probably are now. He has had 2 weeks and 2 meetings to get over this. Cutler had the opportunity to get over this spat and be apart of a prolific offense. Now he could be shipped off to the the highest bidder (which could be the 0-16 Lions). I have been defending cutler since day 1 but if he refuses to learn this new system and continues to be a distraction than maybe its time to call the highest bidder. If detroit is still willing to part ways with the 1st and 20th picks than now is as good of time as any to rebuild. Next season is going to be tough already with the schedule so maybe the broncos bring in jeff garcia and have him and simms battle it out. Denver can use the 3 first round picks to rebuild from the ground up OR see is cleveland is interested in swapping for quinn and rogers. Cutler=Quinn+Rogers. I have never been high on Quinn but he would know the outline of the system and could be a good system QB. I am a Cutler fan but we all cant wait for him to decide when he feels like being a bronco. 2 weeks is more than enough time to nurse an ego. If he is willing to play for the lions to prove a point or to get away from McD than the broncos may call his bluff and give him his wish. None of these scenerios are ideal and i still would like Cutler to be our QB for many years but we cant wait all off season for him to decide.

Well according to CBS4 we wont be seeing Jay Culter or Tony Shefler tomorrow.

If jay gets the entire offense to skip tomorrow i would have to admit that is pretty baller. Nonetheless it would really piss me off.

Once again fellow Bronco fans, who the F*** would we get for Jay if we trade him??? How about McDaniels just calls off the meeting so nobody can miss it….LOL

Or maybe, even better, Josh McDaniels can just send a voice recording on everyone’s home voicemail….You know, who needs this meeting anyways….Eight O’Clock….phff…..Forget that….haha

The Broncos and Jay Cutler appear headed toward a divorce after team owner Pat Bowlen voiced his displeasure with the way the quarterback has handled himself in recent weeks and gave his complete support to new coach Josh McDaniels, according to the Denver Post.

The two sides met face-to-face Saturday.

“I’m very disappointed,” Broncos owner Pat Bowlen said Sunday. “I’m disappointed in the whole picture, not just disappointed that we might lose our star quarterback.”

Asked to clarify, Bowlen said he steadfastly supports his new coach and his disappointment lies in the way Cutler has handled the two-week standoff.

If Bowlen really is disappointed in Cutler, there is only one way to send him a message: Trade him to Detroit. The Lions previously were in the mix for Cutler, which sparked this controversy in the first place. A number of other teams — including the Bears, Vikings, Jets, Buccaneers and 49ers — also could be looking for a quarterback.
