I know all you Bronco Talk fanatics are craving all the articles you can get your orange and blue hands on, so this will put you at a little ease. To make things easier on you I compilied a list of upcoming articles (hence the title) so all you Denver fans know what to expect. The list is tentative, there might be some articles added to the list or scrapped from it. If you loyal readers want us to write about anything just drop us a line in the comments section and wait and see if it makes the list.

These are the list of articles that will be posted (in no certain order):

  1. B.J. Raji or Ron Brace?
  2. Josh McDaniels: Fix the Underachieving Offense
  3. Mr. East’s It’s a Wonderful Horrible Mock Draft (Rounds 1-3 for Denver)
  4. Be the Coach: The Best Thoughts

Denver fans aren’t going into hibernation this offseason and neither is Bronco Talk. Get ready Bronco Nation because we’re taking the next few months by storm.

I;ve heard alot lately about Brace. Could be available to us in round 2. We definitely need a nose tackle and a MLB is the first 2 rounds. Go Broncos!

this is the worst part in sport season for me!!!!!!! theres nothing, i hate basketball, hockey, and baseball is to far away!

how about “Broncos heroes…what are they doing now?” or “what player should be hired as a consultant, and why?” Maybe a look at the college career at some of the top players in positions of need for the Broncs, or a list of free agents, and a wish list? I sure I will have more ideas later.

I’d like to talk about free agency. The coaches are here, the draft isn’t until April, the next big thing is the free agency. What veterans are out there that could come in and help us out and what free agents will we possibly be losing?

  • Mac Miller

PLEASE STAY BUSY…I’d love to see that 1-3 mock ASAP and maybe even a few ideas with what our 3-4 depth chart might look like. I’d like to see if anyone is on the same page as me. Thanks!

    Mac Miller –

Several readers have posted potential 3-4 starters in previous posts and a few mock drafts have been posted, as well. That being said, I’m curious what Broncotalk’s staff/contributers have to say also.

  • Jordan C

For the nose tackle article, it might be useful to include Sammie Lee Hill in the discussion. I get the impression that he might be rising up draft boards a little, or has the potential to do so in the combine.

How about a you be Jim Goodman article. We could do Free Agency and the draft, do we stay at 12,move up for that “special” guy, move down for more picks, etc. I’m sure we could really get that blog going, there’s quite a few intelligent guys here to bounce ideas off.

I would like to know which mock draft has been the most accurate for the Broncos pick. I know that a lot of mocks nailed it with the Ryan Clady pick last year, but before that were any of them even close? Did most mocks even pick the same side of the ball as the actual Denver pick? That should be a 50/50 chance right there.

Second, I would like to know the winner of the Create-A-Caption. Yes I know that Bronco talk has had bigger fish to fry (like the new coaching staff) but I posted on that one of McD pointing his finger at Belicheck. I would like to know who won. I crack me up even if no one else thinks I am funny.

Third, how about a unit by unit look at the Broncos with an evaluation of each. Please include the free agents and possible draft picks for that unit.

Fourth, let’s add a salary cap counter showing how much space the Broncos have under the cap. When the Broncos sign a player add his number to the counter. That would help me as I day dream at work about which players to go get next.

I know this is a lot, but you asked for artical input.

Ok. First and foremost I pay my respects to Mike Shanny. His departure was a tremendous loss and I will miss him. He was the one and only Head Coach to give Denver what it had deserved for so many years.

However as odd as it may seem I am more exited than I have been in a long time

As a football fan, during any season I go in prepared for 0-16, Hoping for 16-0, and think they will go 11-5. But you have to wait and see. That is the hard part.

But oh well. Let’s get it on!!! Heavy draft, Agressive free agency, good hard practice, and bring it to the table! Go Broncos!

In other news…Shannon Sharpe is denied 1st year entry into the Pro Football HOF. Thoughts?

Shannon Sharpe will get in, I’m not all that sad about it …

    OTHER BRONCO NEWS

Broncos will shuffle LB Williams yet again
    By Dan Parr
    Jan. 31, 2009

One of the repercussions of Denver’s transition to a 3-4 defense is yet another change of positions for D.J. Williams, who has not played at the same spot in back-to-back seasons since 2004-05. Sources say having Williams, who is athletic enough to play inside or outside in a 3-4, gives the Broncos some flexibility in the draft and free agency. If the team decides to use an early pick on a linebacker, it won’t have to stew over whether to take someone who can play inside or outside. Instead, Denver can take the one they deem the best available, regardless of position, and then alter Williams’ position accordingly. The constant changes have made things more challenging for Williams, who recently underwent surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff, but he has played well no matter where he lines up and he doesn’t seem shaken by it.

I think is a good plan, Draft Rey , or OMG if Curry falls to us?

  • Dakota fan

How sad is this? (Sharpe not getting in the HOF)

I know he’ll get in. And I have no problem with the number of Steelers, Cowboys and Packers in the HOF, because they have the rings to justify it. But how in the hell do the Bills get two guys in on one day (Smith and Ralph Wilson) and we get hosed?

I used to think Woody Paige was out of his mind- okay, maybe he is, but I used to think his complaining that they have it in to exclude the Broncos was ludicrous. Now, I’m a believer. How you keep Randy Gradishar and Terrell Davis out of the hall makes me think the weak sisters who do the voting only let you in if you’re north of the Mason Dixon Line or east of the Mississippi River.

No disrespect intended towards the greatest QB in NFL history (our #7) and Zimmerman, but the HOF selection voters can shove it.
