Hello Week 11 and all of your challenging decisions. Will it be Jacksonville or Minnesota? Perhaps Baltimore over Philadelphia? Will Brett Favre stop the unbeatable Titans? Can Carolina go into Atlanta and prove that they are indeed the big dogs in the NFC South? Is Miami able to continue their unusual power of upsetting New England? Can Drew Brees continue his superman performance against a stellar Green Bay secondary? I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Picks and analysis after the jump

From the Horse’s Mouth

Baltimore at Philadelphia

Josh Temple – Philly is going to have something to prove after all the TIE talk of the week. I like them to take this one even though the Ravens are a good team.

Ian Henson – I backed the Eagles to go to the Super Bowl, it’s time to eat crow, but I won’t be for this pick.

East – A tie… really? Donovan McDabb is starting to play like garbage which this Baltimore secondary will eat right up.

Houston at Cleveland

Josh Temple – Cleveland is starting to get its act together and Houston isn’t the playoff team we were all predicting.

Ian Henson – Houston will bounce back and Romeo Crennel’s job will once again be at risk.

East – If Brady Quinn can keep playing at his current level then the Browns should pull away with a win.

Buffalo at Kansas City

Josh Temple – Sadly we’re the only team that can lose in Arrowhead this season, that stat continues.

Ian Henson – Kansas City can be scary as a lot of teams have seen the season (especially the Broncos), but the Bills need the win more than the Chiefs

East – Trent Edwards is turning into an INT machine and Kansas City may be awful but their secondary is still stellar. However, look for Marshawn Lynch to run free all day, but it won’t be enough because Tyler Thigpen is starting to prove people wrong.

New England at Miami

Josh Temple – I like Miami to sweep the series just for the motivation of rubbing it in the face of Belicheck for revenge after running up the score to a ridiculous extent last season. Karma #@%*&!!!

Ian Henson – Think Miami’s the real deal? Definitely not.

East – This game will be interesting to watch but I believe Miami doesn’t have it in them to play consistent ball with New England once again.

Minnesota at Jacksonville

Josh Temple – Tough choice, but with Peterson (LB) on the bench I like Minnesota’s running game in this one.

Ian Henson – How sweet would it be if Troy Williamson caught the game winning TD?

East – Minnesota has the ability to stop the run, which is the only thing Jacksonville has on offense. Jacksonville will have a hard time stopping Adrian Peterson.

Carolina at Atlanta

Josh Temple – Matt Ryan has impressed me all season, I like the dirty birds at home.

Ian Henson – Atlanta’s got Jeezy, but not Tupac- Carolina’s got the juice. I think Carolina could beat the Giants right now

East – Carolina’s defense has been disappointing against teams that they should have rolled over (ahem Detroit). Jake Delhomme has been struggling in his past two games as well. If Atlanta stops the run they should come out on top in this NFC South shootout.

Indianapolis at San Diego

Josh Temple – I look for Peyton to come get some revenge after that embarrassing loss last year in S.D. That and I’m rooting for another Charger loss.

Ian Henson – San Diego can’t fall three games behind. They’ve had the Colts number lately and it will continue.

East – Peyton Manning against a defense that has allowed 2,670 yards through the air this season.

New Orleans at Green Bay

Josh Temple – Tough one, both good QBs having good years, so home field tips the scales on this one.

Ian Henson – Green Bay on prime time? I’ve got my money on Green Bay in prime time.

East – The real question is can Drew Brees handle a Green Bay secondary comprised of Nick Collins and Charles Woodson? Both of these defensive backs tie the NFL for most interceptions on the season, totaling 10 between each other.

10 Things I Find Funny (Football or not)

1) WAS at SEA – Read it out phonetically.

2) Belicheck – Type it into Microsoft Word and the spell check’s nearest word for is “Belches.”

3) Herman Edwards – Says he’s not used to losing. His career record is 53-69.

4) Al Davis – Need I say more?

5) Rookie of the Week Awards – Josh Long was nominated last week because his team allowed only two sacks against Seattle. Whereas Ryan Clady has allowed less than that himself all year and has yet to be nominated.

6) Spencer Larsen – I have voted for him 47 times and counting.

7) Monday Night Football – Trying to figure out what down it is, their layout is very unhelpful.

8) I rented the first disc of Heroes on Tuesday and I’m almost through with the season.

9) Jim Gaffigan – Just YouTube him already.

10) Man tries to pay bill with spider drawing

Yeah, I pulled the trigger on KC over BUF. It wasn’t all that hard. Thigpen is playing better than Trent Edwards right now. Just in general, the Chiefs are playing a little better than the Bills.

Maybe they’ll right the ship like the Broncos have had to, who knows, but right now the Bills are crashing in a downward spiral.

And holy crap, that link is hilarious.

I had every intention of running picks on this, and I woke up and didn’t even realize today was Thursday and I missed the deadline. Sorry guys! Just been too busy.

My company had Gaffigan at our X-mas party a couple of years ago… very funny guy. I actually had the honor (??) to be called ‘pale’ by the great white wonder himself after his comedy routine was over. How many people can make that claim (or should admit to it anyway).

To be honest, my wife and I are bit more into the unusual funny of Zack Galifianakis, but Jim was hilarious.

Great Link. Notice his time travel email. He returned from his travels 3 minutes after sending the email. Good use of the flux-capacitor.
