extremely frustrating game to watch jay all aside from his 3 ints played lights out not his fault no one helped him.. It goes along way to say that when your fullback is your leading receiver.. no disrespect to hillis but he had to dump it off to him time after time after time…and lets just say karl paymah is far ways away from being a starting CB let alone a nickel XD

  • AKscott

i dont think paymah played bad really.. its the BS playcalling.. why do our corners play 5-10yds off the LOS every play.. is chad freaking pennington gonna beat us deep?? I mean really?? chad pennington’s deep ball is what we are worried about? C’mon, play some man.. so tired of watching 2nd & 10 and the other team just playing pitch and catch.

And i dont want to sound like a Charger fan, but geeeeeeeezzzzus can we get a call our way- that BS marshall penalty was a 10 point swing for us, and a game changer. You cant say the refs blew the game b/c we rushed for what.. 7 yards?? but that penalty just KILLED us..

Kudos to Hillis for stepping it up LARGE
Kudos to Eddie Royal, and i thought winborn played pretty darn well

Goodell’s Gestapo is quickly making up for Hoculi’s mistake. My god, how many times do you see a defensive holding call on a running play? It’s like 99 -1 odds. That call on the touchdown to Marshall, WTF…how could you deem that offensive pass int.. Someone or somebody has to stop this unmerciful act of vengence upon Denver for something we didnt do. On the flip side, who are we now? The defense played admirably in my estimation. They didnt allow 100 yds to 2 RBs. Pennington rolled up passing yds, but we SHUT the rund down, except for that 30 yd gainer by Brown.

How much more could you ask of the defense in trying to bail Cutler’s ass out of trouble. Wow, now you see what Hillis can do!!!!! He’s been there since the 1st game. Im not sure what happpened, but he “kicked” ass tonite! Eddie Royal was great as well. Hillis and Royal are our stars, and our defense overall. Turnovers resulted in 13pts. How can you ever win when you dig a hole of that depth for yourselves. Thanks Jay! Your quickly becoming Plummer “Lite”.

I honestly cannot believe the offensive pass interference call. Yet another horrible call that may well have cost Denver the game. How long do they have to pay for a bad call in week 1? That call cost Denver a 10 point swing, and a huge momentum swing.in a 9 point game…and if Brandon Marshall is going to complain and get frustrated about not getting the ball then he damn sure better catch the ones that are thrown to him…elite recievers don’t drop touchdown passes that are that well thrown. I am so sick of the one sided referees I want to puke! The defense played really well today, but what is with the 20 yard cushions by the corners? Why can’t they press and disrupt the timing? The d line actually got to pennington today, but the corners played so far off it was easy for him to hit the 8-10 yard out patterns. I am so frustrated about this…and my longhorns collapsing in the last minute…AAAH!

really though, not to harp on it.. but had the MF’n BS phantom pass interference not been called that was a TD (would have been Jay’s 3rd) and he wouldnt have been on the field to throw the pick 2 plays later.. in all reality he should been 3td’s and 2 (really awful) Int’s..

He played poorly but that last INT shouldnt have been.. bad calls happen every game, for each team, and you have to overcome them, but it just seems like ours are coming EACH game and they come to either facilitate big plays for the other team or kill big plays for us.

Thank you defense for manning up.. i was worried about the wildcat, and they shut it down pretty effectively

And thank you louis green for that awful coverage attempt on ricky williams.. that hurt BAD.. im sick

  • troyn

Anybody that doesn’t think that phantom off. pass interference penalty decided this game should go ahead and vote for Obama and continue to place blame where it doesn’t belong.

  • AKscott

god im so ready for this stupid election to be over too..
can we just fast forward to thursday night PLEASE!!

    go broncos

  • troyn

I despise those that call for shanahan’s head, despite his the fact that no team ever comes into the season as well prepared, talent notwithstanding, as the broncos. It’s the same thing as blaming the republicans for Clinton giving us 9/11 and the current market collapse. Clinton handed Bush a hand stacked against him, terrorists left unchecked for 8 years, loans given out to people who didn’t deserve them to make Bill look fair to the underclass etc. Not a perfect analogy because Shanahan deserves some blame for a couple of draft classes, but he is still top 3 in terms of coaches in the NFL.

Denver is in need of a major overhaul. First everyone in the NFL knows what scheme Mike Shannahan is going to do, and everyone can stop his run plays, pass plays, defense too. The defense if the worst i’ve seen in years…
Fire Mike Shannahan, hire Bill Cowher and do a major overhaul including getting rid of Jay Cultler..
