Injury report for Sunday

Friday’s injury report is out, and there’s good news and bad news.

The good news is that only one player is listed as Out — and that’s Champ Bailey.

The bad news is that Scheffler, Stokley, Hall, Young, Pittman and Torain are all listed as questionable. And while technically questionable means 50/50 chance, it always seems a little less positive than that. Still, with them all questionable we can expect right around 3 of them sitting this one out.

Here’s the really tough bit: That’s all of our running back core. Hall seems like the worst off, who sat out Thursday completely. We also know that Torain isn’t slated to start, but if all the other RBs end up not able to play, he wouldn’t have a choice. Personally, I want to see Pittman start with Torain getting a series or two, because we don’t know what he’ll do during a game and we should ease him in.

If Stokley and/or Scheffler are out, our offense will suffer a bit for it.

    I respectfully disagree. “suffer a bit”. Like against NE and JAX, where i believe we had injuries to the same recievers. Against JAX Cutler force-fed Marshall the ball… Both are etremely important to keep focus off of #15 – if they a both out i see the same ofensive fireworks as the games of NE and JAX.

    Only this time: A better defense!

    one thing i havent heard much over the past week plus is who is gonna be replacing Boss. Is winborn getting the start (please god no) .. are they going back to just the 4-3 or still flip between the 3-4 and 4-3. Is the lack of reports about this a sign that they may play someone most people wont expect (wesley or spencer maybe??)
    Anyone have any good answers ??

    From what I’m hearing, AKscott, Winborn is going to replace Boss and they are going to drop the 3-4 for the most part, because without Boss we don’t have the personnel to run it.

    thanks.. heard that initially as well, but not much since a day or two after the NE game
