Week 1 Playoffs

Meh. Bite me. I enjoy La-La Land. Thanks to Jason for the tip.

The absurdly premature playoff picture: Week One [Shutdown Corner]

I like it… But it’s way to early

  • Richard

    Yes WAY TOO SOON!!!

Lets talk about next weeks game and how the Chagers try to cover both Royal and Marshall, and if they put a saftey on one or the other it opens the TE or Stokley for a big game. If that doesn’t work how that opens the running game.

La-la land is a good place to be.

yeah its early and a long way off but if you look at the 12 teams – with the exception of the Bills and without those standings – doesn’t this look like it could be the 12 in the play offs?

Karl was a beast in Tecmo Bowl. I had over 100 sacks in one season.

Sweet! That is very cool. Go Yahoo! sports. The only thing is the Seahawks, and Jags. Last year the Jags just had a good year I never did and still don’t think they have a good shot. And the Hawks, *maybe*

Amazing how many things are falling into place for the Broncos this year. They start off with the worst team in the league, and the Raiders lie down like dogs. Next up the Chargers minus Merriman, arguably one of the biggest impact defensive players in the league and who would have been lined up against rookie left tackle Clady. Brady out for the season for the Patriots. Vince Young hurt physically (and emotionally?).

I think the two teams in the AFC that will surprise the most will be the Bills and the Stealers. In the NFC, Carolina and the Eagles.

We’ll know on Sunday what portends for the Broncos season (minus any injuries of our own) when San Diego runs the ball at them, and play action passes to Gates.

I like it to, based on week 1. The Steelers looked like the best and most complete team in the NFL this weekend to me. We looked good, and Elway, I mean Cutler, can elevate us over anyone, but it was just the Raiders. I worry about our defense. I don’t want to be like the Bengals. If our defense is average, we could get by. Our SB teams had some holes on defense, but our offense often covered for those weaknesses, and frankly, we tended to play well minus a few bad games against the Bengals and 49ers (in the 1997 season) that come to mind.
