We just updated the main poll on the left sidebar of the site (we do this once or twice a month during the offseason) and wanted to invite everyone to partake. Which of the four running backs will run for the most yards in 2008 – Travis Henry, Selvin Young, Andre Hall, or 5th round pick Ryan Torain?

Who will be the Broncos' leading rusher in 2008?

I see there isn’t a lot of confidence in Henry.

at this point does he warrant much? he’s already injured…..

Ok, so who is the only other silly person holding out hope for Andre Hall leading the pack this year? :)

Selvin Young is turning out 2 be a LOT like T.D.

    S.Young all the way!

get rid of Henry, he can go take care of his 9 illegitimate kids.

shanahan never has any problem putting in rookie runningbacks. and with this hamstring injury Henry just suffered, i wouldnt be surprised if Torain is the lead man.

I actually think we might see a two-headed Young/Torain running attack since their running styles are so different.

Herny: old and srtong, Young: fast and strong, Hall: very new and has nice power, Torian: ? who knows… maybe a breakout back… maybe a bust.

I say Torian. I wanted to pick Young, but he has never been able to play a full year without being hurt since HS.

Yeah with most teams it would be a stretch to say that Torian will lead our team in rushing. But like Kerry pointed out Shanny doesn’t have any problems giving his rookie running backs plenty of reps. As long as he shows potential and holds on to the ball.

I don think Torain will do it this year, im guessing he will still need to get strong, and if he does come on it will be towards the end of the season. right now i still hold hopes for Henry, I know it isn’t popular, but i like a guy with a chip on his shoulder. last year he came in feeling ordained, now he feels like he has to prove something, i prefer the latter scenario.
