[Jay Cutler]

Jay Cutler responded to criticism he’s received in light of his previous comments about Brandon Marshall. I have to say… I love everything Jay said here. Take a look.

“If I would have known it was going to be such a big story and get picked up by the national media like it did, I probably would have chosen my words a little more carefully.” …

“I think it’s going to be a good thing for me and I think it’s going to be a good thing for Brandon. I wouldn’t have said what I did if I didn’t care about him. I want to see him succeed. I think he’s one of the most talented players in the league, and I’d hate to see him throw that all away.”

“People have to understand about Brandon Marshall and I. We go out to dinner together, we went to Atlanta together. I’ve talked to Brandon about this many times. It’s not like this is the first time he heard this from me. Everything I said in that press conference I’ve said to Brandon before. I don’t think he was shocked to hear what I said. Maybe he was a little embarrassed, but hopefully it will help him.” …

John can say what he wants. I’m not about to disagree with John Elway, but I’ve said from Day One, we’re not the same quarterback on or off the field.”

The over/under for Woody Paige‘s next brilliant piece on Jay is set for midnight tonight…

This story is getting picked up so many times in the news that I’m always going to see that gray sweatshirt outfit every time I think of Cutler.

If there was any doubt before, now its clear whose team it is. If the media in Denver would quit asking Elway about the Broncos this would actually die. I like Cutler not being afraid of the Elway legacy too bad the QB’s in between were so scared of #7’s shadow

Go get em Cutler, I am an Elway fanatic but Cutler is rapidly winning me over for the next generation of Broncoball. I love the fact that Cutler still isn’t backing down on this, good jog Jay, keep it up man.
