Tatum Bell back to Denver, are you kidding me?  This is the third or fourth article I’ve read on the subject.  With Travis Henry facing a possible suspension, the rumor spreaders are at work trying to construct a scenario where the Lions would trade Bell.  Looking for potential suitors with running back issues, every article out there mentions the Bucs (of course), and the Broncos.

Been there, done that, no thanks.  Not in a million years.  The story popped up in the news feed of the BroncoTalk sidebar, so I felt it needed to be addressed.

  • Huh???

    Kyle,
You and your posts are beginning to make me question why I visit this site. What do you base this “not in a million years” statement on? The fact that he gained over 1000 yards in a limited roll or ??? No T. Bell does not run with the same authority as T. Davis but crap, is that “not in a million years” worthy? What credentials does it take to be a primary contributor to this blog? Judging by your posts all it takes is a pulse.

I can’t believe I’ve lowered myself to defending T. Bell but this is about the 5th posting I’ve read of yours that makes my stomach turn.

    Dear Huh???,

Check out the about page if you don’t know what this is about. Bottom line this is a Broncos fan sites, and if you know anything about fans it’s that their opinions differ.

I appreciate feedback, criticism, etc., because it only make me churn out a better product. That said, I would love to hear your opinions from time to time! If something I say rubs you the wrong way, comment it there and give your opinion! We’re all fans here, and even if we disagree we’re all friends.

Re: Bell. It was quick post, if you can’t tell, and I just can’t fathom a scenario where the Broncos would trade back for him. He was rumored to be in the ole Shanny doghouse, had fumbleitis, and was collectively cheered upon his departure by the fans. Plus, if you read the articles, they don’t give a lick of quotes or the like, just speculation that has somehow made it into the mainstream media (“The Broncos may be interested, with the pending suspension…”). Why is “not in a million years” such a gut-wrenching phrase for you? It’s a phrase that means very very very unlikely, and I stand by it.
