Yeah, it’s only one game… and 4 teams play tonight, each of which could challenge some of these rankings. But our statistics from last night’s game are screaming to be mentioned, so I figured I’d bring them up here.
In total yardage rankings, the Broncos finished in the Top 5 leaguewide in total offense, passing offense, rushing offense, total defense and passing defense (and the top 3 in 4 of those 5 categories). And we were #1 in total defense.
Total Offense
-
Dallas Cowboys – 478 yards
-
Denver Broncos – 470 yards
-
Indianapolis Colts – 452 yards
-
New York Giants – 438 yards
-
New England Patriots – 431 yards
Passing Offense
-
Dallas Cowboys – 336 yards
-
New York Giants – 314 yards
-
Denver Broncos – 299 yards
-
New England Patriots – 297 yards
-
Indianapolis Colts – 288 yards
Rushing Offense
-
Tennessee Titans – 282 yards
-
Pittsburgh Steelers – 206 yards
-
Washington Redskins – 191 yards
-
Carolina Panthers – 186 yards
-
Denver Broncos – 171 yards
Total Defense
-
Denver Broncos – 184 yards
-
San Diego Chargers – 202 yards
-
Philadelphia Eagles – 215 yards
-
Houston Texans – 219 yards
-
Pittsburgh Steelers – 221 yards
Passing Defense
-
Jacksonville Jaguars – 68 yards
-
Denver Broncos – 72 yards
-
San Diego Chargers – 122 yards
-
Houston Texans – 147 yards
-
Cleveland Browns – 159 yards
Again, these mean next to nothing, but it’s still pretty cool to be ranked this high in so many categories through Week 1.
