I know I’ve said I won’t bore you with technical details regarding the blog anymore… but the tweaks I’ve made over the weekend have got me really excited, so I’m breaking that rule. Again. The sidebars are “cleaner”, and the general layout for the site has a lot of improvements that make the entire site look that much more professional. In fact, the horrid-looking Comments system I had used has been completely overhauled… but more on that later.

I’m looking for help from talented Broncos fans with something to say. Anyone out there interested in contributing to one of the fastest-growing Broncos fan sites on the Web need look no further than here to leave their mark. This is a non-profit fan site, so there wouldn’t be payment involved – but with all the fan support on the forums out there I’m sure there’s someone who is at least curious at this opportunity.

I’m looking for both a News Editor and an Opinions Editor, and anyone who reads frequently knows that these overlap often on the blog… anyone interested will have the opportunity to do anything and everything from breaking down game tape to reporting breaking news stories to venting about something or other Denver Broncos. In other words – they’ll BroncoTalk. For privacy reasons, please e-mail me at BroncoTalk@gmail.com for more information.

The other thing that’s got me really excited is the complete overhaul I did to my Comments system – after wondering why my 2,900 page views per week weren’t leaving any comments, I figured out that due to some bug in the Comments file, my entire Feedback system looked like utter crap.

Like, really really bad. Like long run-on sentences with no visible break between comments. I had been reading the comments through the back-end Admin pages and hadn’t seen how brutally awful the styles were. Well, I’ve put in the effort to fix that, and now I have a comments presentation I’m proud of.

Leave a comment and test it out for yourself… I’ve already left two to show the differences between Guest and Author posts (and you no longer have to fully login to leave a comment, although I always encourage you to do so!). The Comment form looks nicer, and a live preview of your post updates as you type before you submit…

My take on the Wade Phillips debate is scheduled to drop in about half an hour… Power Rankings later… see you then.

Amazingly… almost magically… this comment was published before the post.

    Mind-blowing, no?

Graet news. I had tried to leave comments before but it didn’t work. Looking forward to better interaction.
