BRONCOS VS. SEAHAWKS TV SCHEDULE

The Denver Broncos enjoy their 2012 preseason home opener Saturday as they host the Seattle Seahawks in Week Two preseason action. Kickoff at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver is set for 7:00 p.m. MT.

The NFL does not offer live television coverage outside of local markets for most preseason games, and DirecTV’s Sunday Ticket Package does not kick in until the regular season. So, here’s how, where, and when to watch or listen to Saturday’s preseason home opener.

*Locals can use this option too.

IN DENVER (or surrounding areas)

The game will feature a simulcast by the team’s broadcast partners. KUSA-TV will carry the game on television and KOA Radio (850 AM) will broadcast over the air. Dave Logan (play-by-play) and Ed McCaffrey (color commentary) will call the game with Rod Mackey reporting from the sidelines. A Spanish radio broadcast is also available on 1090 AM/92.1 FM.

IN SEATTLE (or surrounding areas)

Television coverage provided by Q13 FOX Seattle. Radio coverage on 710 AM ESPN, 97.3 KIRO Seattle.

LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL (during the game)

Watch: NFL.com offers a subscription-service: Preseason Live, that will allow you to watch the game live from your computer or tablet. It is $19.99 $14.99 for every preseason game and includes on-demand re-airs through Sept. 15th.

Listen: Sirius/XM Radio will air Denver’s feed on Channel 135 and Chicago’s on 106. The NFL Audio Pass, an NFL.com subscription service for the entire season, is also available.

LOCAL AND NON-LOCAL (after the game)

The NFL Network will air a tape-delayed version of the game Sunday night at 11:00 p.m. ET. Another re-air is available Wednesday, August 22, at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The NFL.com Preseason Live package also included on-demand re-airs of the preseason games through September 15th.

How will you be watching the game Broncos fans? Are you lucky and local enough to see it live? If not, will you be watching online or waiting for one of the NFL Network rebroadcasts? Let us know in the poll an comments.

Broncos are Utah’s local team in regular season but we don’t get local preseason games. This is actually airing on Fox for me though.

Next week is NTV on FOX and their final preseason game is on NFLN, so you’re good to go!

  • TheTroglodyte

Actually, it’s not on Fox it’s a Utah local channel that is new to DirectTV I think. Either way this is sweet, I’m going to get all 3 games live! Jon, I feel as though you pulled some strings just to make this happen for me. I appreciate it man! :)

So, for non-locals, don’t local sports bars have coverage thru their own nfl plans?

  • http://broncotalk.net Monty

Not during the preseason, that I’m aware of. Most bars use DirecTV to offer the slate of games during the regular season.

I just wanted to let people in Colorado know to not order the NFL preseason live. You can watch the game after the live broadcast, but it is blacked out during the game time.

    Anything for my favorite caveman!

BTW, a quick Google search turned up a promo code for NFL Preseason Live which will knock another $3 or so off the price. ;) Enter ‘directv’ without the quotes and the final price is $12 something.
